Thank you! The boss mechanics were a late edition to the Ember version and I am happy with how they turned out. I agree the game needs more of a tutorial and to make the level deisgn a bit more readable. I'll definitely try to work on this after the jam if I find the time. I'll see about adding audio after the jam too, I want to tske the time to find good sound effects and make my own music though ideally

As is yours! Thank you for the kind words and if I do get to expanding this game I will definitely add in a tutorial. I've been debating adding in a system for dynamically loading level packs in with godots .pck system which would allow me to make an entire tutorial pack for people who are new, due to the level loading system I made this shouldn't be too hard and I'll definitely do it if it scores well and I find the time.
Yeah, audio isn't my strong suit and I wanted to be able to say everything was made by me and my teammates so I decided it'd be best to omit it for the jam. Didn't have time to compose my own music and I'm no foley artist. Thanks for the kind words about the pickaxe, I enjoyed adding it and think it helped a bunch allow levels to be opened up and be made more interesting!
Yeah, the sword being able to hit through walls is an annoying by-product of how it was made and unfortunately refactoring it wouldve taken too much time for the jam. Thanks for your kind words on the art though and if it does well in the Jam Ill do a postmortem and fix the game up with more content and better physics. Maybe even more weapon types? I'll have to see...
Interesting concept for a story and interpretation of the theme. The sudden theme change of some elements such as feeding and cooking can feel out of place but considering how polished the rest of the graphics are for a Jam I can definitely let that slide. Congrats on making an interesting visual novel, short and sweet!
This is the best I've rated any game for this Jam so far, I admit it can get incredibly frustrating sometimes when timing jumps slightly wrong, but it's an incredibly unique and fun spin on games like the offline dinosaur game which are classics. This is incredibly well done, especially for being pure HTML, JS and CSS. Congrats, hopefully you'll get a prize for creativity or enjoyment!
Yeah, I do think some of the decorations can at sometimes look like solid walls, and yeah I kept it somewhat easy to prevent moments where you get overwhelmed and it feels unfair. Thanks for the positive feedback though, if it does well after this jam maybe I'll revisit some of the feedback and maybe even add multiple difficulties!
Really interesting game, graphics are pretty cool, were they made specifically for this jam? It's nice to see a playable and well thought out 3d game, they can be quite hard to pull off in the time given. Controls sometimes feel a bit floaty but I guess that kinda makes sense for subs.
Congrats and good luck!
Edit: I got a reply in the slack saying they aren't custom made for the game but were edited to work currently, cool nonetheless.
Really nice game, The sound effects are much better than most other games in this jam. The visual style is really nice, although I did find the game rendered at quite a low resolution. It was a fun game, although at some point the levels felt very cramped, reminds me a lot of Nova Drift!
This game is certainly deserving of an award, good luck!
I thought about making the enemies zoned, but due to the fact all of the levels are tilemap based that ended up being more challenging than expected to implement. Killing enemies through the wall is known but I didn't feel that was *too* big of an issue and fixing it with a raycast or similar was not particularly easy to implement.
I did want to make a menu or tutorial but sadly didn't get around to it, maybe I'll expand it a bit more after the jam is over depending on how well it was done. I'll add what is mineable to the description, thanks for that feedback!
