Hi! I just clicked on the link but it didn't work :( I'm not sure if there is an updated link but I'd still love for this game of mine to be included in the bundle! You can also DM me on Twitter at @Ashlee_Craft if that's easier for you!

Thank you, I'm glad you like the idea! :D

This was so good!!! I loved the character designs & your layouts, great work!!!

OH MY GOSH THE COLORS & TEXTURES & ART STYLE ARE ALL SO GOOD!!!!! The crows especially were so cute & I loved pizza being such a big part of the story, great work!!!

Poor dude lol, also I really liked your art style!!

All the crosshatching & textures looked so good, this was such a cool comic!

Awww, I loved the art style in this & the lil ghost character!

Awww, this had such nice warm nostalgic vibes & I loved the parallels between the two sets of characters! :)

I loved the dogs in this & also I genuinely laughed out loud when I saw the eldritch horror holding the chew toy in its mouth haha 🤣

Oooh, the backgrounds & textures & layout in this were so satisfying & good!

You have captured this particular horror so well haha

THE LINEWORK & TEXTURES ARE SO GOOD, this was such a cool entry!!!

Awww, this was definitely a cute & silly lil comic, it has good nostalgia vibes tbh!

As a fellow artist, I really loved this submission & the description of your process/photos showing the various stages of the painting! IMO I also feel it kind of counts as using the Fluxus modified that you ARE the art & that you have made yourself the subject of your submission!! :) Great work!

This soundtrack is amazing! I love the notes about what each track represents, & it all sounded exactly like something you'd hear in a really cool game or even an animated film! I think "Big Ben" was my favorite track because it sounded engaging & magical & had a nice energy to it, but these were songs all so good, great work!

Thank you so much! I really enjoyed reading your impressions of each song, thank you for listening & for reviewing! :)

I loved the retro vibes of this & the basslines were especially good! My favorite song was "Keeping Time", I loved the bouncy feel of these songs & their time-themed titles!

I enjoyed trying to get the paint in the right places & it's a cool concept & good use of both the limitation & theme! I also love plants haha so that was definitely a big appeal of this game for me!

Yesterday I tried to DM Icoso on Discord for the late submission link as the instructions said but my DM wouldn’t go through but I’d still like a late submission link if it’s not too late to get one & I wasn’t sure where else to post this, here’s the link to my game I made for this jam:

Hi, sorry for the late submission! Here's my game about snails who have to make games for a game jam before the deadline!

Thank you so much! I'm not sure how to go about submitting a late submission to be considered, but I'm fairly certain you need the link to my game to do so, so here that is. One of the downloadable files is a screen reader accessible formatted version of the document, but if I need to list that version on a separate Itchio page to be able to submit it, please let me know.

I didn't have time to do the project I originally planned for this jam using an audio description of a visual novel, but I downloaded a screen reader & realized how inaccessible the PDF for one of my TTRPGs I created recently for another jam was, so I reworked the document to make it understandable when read by a screen reader, & it was also my first time ever using a screen reader so I'll definitely be testing future projects of mine (& updating old ones to make them accessible) by using it.

Thanks again!

I really want to submit something to this but due to my work schedule, it won’t be done until tomorrow or Tuesday. Will you allow late submissions to this? Thanks!

My VN is about a conversation between two “characters” that fit the other rules for that, but I wanted to know whether the name label in Renpy that shows up above the text to signify which character is speaking counts against the 1k word limit or not.

I saw in the explanation of rules that it said name tags didn’t count against the word limit but I just wanted to check & make sure name tags were what I thought they were & not just like, an illustrated name tag on a sprite’s uniform so I didn’t accidentally break that rule lol

In the past week or so I created a short visual/kinetic novel for a different game jam & I wanted to know whether it counts & is in the spirit of this jam if I take that game & make a new version of it where I add an audio description kind of like how streaming platforms have versions of films with audio descriptions & experiment with that technology, or whether I need to make an entirely new game for it to count for this jam! Thanks!

Hi! I am intentionally submitting my project late in keeping in line with the required "Rules are meant to be broken" limitation. Here's a link to my game!

A great list, & also I just wanted to let you know there’s a small typo! I believe Louie Zong’s last name is spelled incorrectly here! :)

A fun little game! I enjoyed the decision-making elements of it & loved the kind of Robin-Hood feel to it a lot! I only played until after the first boss as it seemed too lengthy after that point, but I thought it was cool how other members could join the party (I ended with 21 members!) & I liked being able to choose which party members to give new shoes & weapons to. Some of the text on the player fight choices/abilities was hard to read because the background & text were both dark, but I enjoyed the aesthetic of this game!

This is such a cute game!! It was challenging to get the keys & I loved that the slime is trying to collect keys to save their brother! The slime was also so cute haha & the way it moved made me laugh several times, I loved how it just hunkered down to slide up the rock slopes in the cave, great game!

I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Pickled onions are indeed delicious & probably the only perk of Bertie's job is that he has access to plenty of them haha

Thank you for your review & for playing! The password is something I'll definitely make easier in the full version as a lot of people had problems with that, but two hints are that it is a phrase of two words with no spaces between the words, & that it only works if you put it in all caps! I'm so glad you enjoyed the characters & story though so thank you!

Thank you so much for your review! I definitely plan on making the password part easier when I make the full version so that it can be input in any combination of lower/uppercase & still work. I'm so glad you enjoyed the character designs & the frog! :) Thanks for playing!

Thank you so much!! I appreciate that & I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
