Why Early Access?

The game is still under development. We need your feedback to help us understand how we are doing.

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

We're not sure how long the game will be in Early Access. Hopefully, it will be released before the end of 2017.

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

The full version will include more content than the Early Access version:

  • New quests
  • More enemies and characters
  • More weapons, spells, amulets and other items
  • New terrains, plants and buildings
  • Roguelike mod

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

The basic mechanics are complete but more content needs to be added.

The story will take place in an archipelago consisting of three islands, each of them has its own mood, look, music and enemies. Right now we have almost completed the first, the most small and simple island.

There might be bugs, please tell us if you see any.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

The price will likely be the same after Early Access, but we're not sure.

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

We received a lot of extremely useful feedback from our testers on Game Jolt, and will continue engaging with the community. We'll be posting devlogs to keep you updated.

We just released our game here on

Forged Adventure is a turn-based RPG with an epic fantasy theme. Explore a massive open world, talk with locals, find allies, learn new skills, and fight your foes.

Problems on Linux

We test Forged Adventure on Ubuntu 16.04 64-bit. Please let us know if you've tried to run it on another OS (successfully or not).

If the game crashes on startup, try running it with the prefix "LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE=1" to force software rendering. This is not ideal, but you'll be able to run the game.
