I apologize for taking so long to leave a comment! Just hadn't been too in the mood for vns, but the second I did, I devoured the new update and loved every second!!! And have quite a bit to say about it!

I will admit, the whole tone change of escaping on Berno's boat and arriving to the castle threw me for a loop at first, but then thought it over, and ultimately thought it was a good call! While the escape was heavy and dark, it did help having a moment to break the tension and return to the fun vibe this story does well!
The time spent at the castle was a blast! Got some good lore and really cute moments with everyone! When Berno was introduced, wasn't too big on him, but everything has changed my mind. I honestly can't help but love him the most now, cause he feels like he has a genuine reason on having romantic interest in Finn. Seeing the family dynamics and interactions made this chapter so fun!!! Just seeing him and his family's silly moments endeared them all so much to me, hope to see them soon! The two brothers putting aside their differences and giving Finn the chalice were my favorite moments!(Will also admit that I have a bias of having the Mcs top whenever I can, and them acting like they did when Finn spies on them give me hope of clapping Rottie cheeks in the near future)
While I do love the fun and joy everyone has the most, it was great to see the main overall plot proceed. I will admit it seems kinda suspicious of the staff suddenly betraying the royal family after Finn confided in the Dad about what happened, but I'm hoping its correlation and not causation. Was nice seeing Mary again... even though I forgot who on Earth she was how we knew her, until I decided to do some playthroughs to get the other cgs and saw her at the party. Really great learning more of Rajiv's ideals. When I saw him, originally had the "I can fix him!" vibe, then realize how twisted his views are, I have now realized I was truly delulu.
Now getting to the debatable biggest reveal: Mert and Artyom definitely have superior motives. Will admit, was thrown off by Mert's violence and the reveal that he seemingly hated every moment with Finn broke my heart for poor Finn.(btw, this is more how I understood it) While we don't know what Artyom's motivation is, I have hope that he truly does love Finn, even though I feel like his motives might be pretty dark themselves.(little theory he as some connection to the American royal family with the jet at the very end). And I am not complaining what so ever, I actually love this all so much! While I do love the cute moments, I did find it really suspicious how quickly Mert and Artyom try to seduce Finn, and glad to know I might be right in the end. Really excited to see both their true motives as we continue the story. Really hyped to see how their romance make or break with what we'll learn later down the line.
Loved the ending party with the girls, a moment to give poor Finn to digest everything going on since he got on the damned island. Really want to see more moments between the four of them, their dynamic always caught my interest, so curious on how they'll play into the plot overall.
While I feel bad with how often Finn is infantilized by everyone around him, it's great that he's taking this all more seriously then he was originally and trying to improve. I'm hyped for his future character arc.
Can't wait to learn more about the differences between the USA and this world's version on it, though have a feeling my curiosity might go too far tbh.
Also never tried a Holger route, but realized some cgs is tied to it, so I did a new playthrough to focus on him and solely Artyom to see the differences. Even did another where I pursued solely Mert when given the option, so curious how those routes will continue. Also Finn, I feel for ya for falling for a straight man, just gotta let your heart recover.
I probably say this with each update, but this was my absolute favorite update, and I am so ready to see how everything continues, and where you'll take us through this story. Thank you again for starting this one, I can't wait to see what you'll do in your future!!! Also sorry every review is essentially an essay, but I'm really loving this story and I want to let ya know!!!
(P.s. feel bad for asking, but the only cg I'm missing is the one between Berno and Finn on the jet ski and Artyom telling Finn to remove his speedo so Finn gets a better look. If you could help, I'd greatly appreciate it cause I no matter what I do I can't get it.)
I want to say, I'm so thankful to see the edit, it makes it feel a bit better! Also really nice to see a dev take a bit of criticism, and improve!!! I will admit I may have gone over the top, and I apologize for that. It's just that it felt really jaring to suddenly see. Thoroughly enjoying everything in this new update, added all my favorite things to enjoy even more!!! Always love seeing the boys interact and being cute! Can't wait to see more, and learn about why the white dog(forgot his name, sorry) is so obsessed with Finn. While I think he's cute design wise, holy shit is he nuts(not a complaint btw, he's just caught my eye).
I've been reading since the beginning, and have no intention to get off this ride anytime soon!!! Whenever I see an update drop, I go ahead and read it the second I can! Even with what I said in the past, I am enjoying this story with my whole heart, and always excited to see what's in store for this story!!!
P.s. might be weird to suddenly bring up, but will the girls be more involved in the story? Cause I kinda feel bad for them cause they came together, and Finn sorta ditched them after the first day(that, and I wanna see how they react to what the hells going on, especially with how Finn is suddenly finding himself in a throuple with some more guys possibly being interested in him)
I do plan on enjoying more, and excited for what comes up next! I will admit, some of the stuff I mentioned were more personal things, but I still stand by what I said for Jiro. If you intended for him to be silly and not actually a rapist, you might need to work on it.
Where I'm coming from, is that the two love interests who are shown again and again capable of taking care of themselves, are absolutely terrified of this man, to the point they're actively trying to escape him every chance they get. And he makes it very clear of what he wants, and starts chasing them to the point of the two having to hide from him. Absolutely nothing about Jiro suggest or comes off as him not being serious. Now if it were like he'd say a creepy thing, and got a smack for it, that'd show it more humorous. But no, it's just reactions of horror, and Rene and Finn have to call him out on it.
I will admit I have an extreme heavy bias against this trope, but it seems a little more extreme version
I'm not really sure if I should leave a comment on the new update or not? Cause I believe in you and whatever way you'll push this vn in, and would love to say more! Just unfortunately, I can't help but say I hated this update. There were parts I liked/found cute, it just got swallowed up by the rest that kinda felt like a punch to the face that left me in confusion and honestly kinda upset.
The new art and sprites I really liked and love looking at them!
The main parts I really liked were the very start, and the very end. With the start, I thought it was cute and sweet to see Finn be the Otaku he is, and the others entertain him with it, even though being bored. With the end, I loved learning more about the worlds lore, and excited to see more of it!
While I love the idea of them exploring places explicitly gay, I'm iffy with this execution. Personally didn't care that it seemed to be a fetish bar, but I couldn't really enjoy the scene with how the love interests seemed really uncomfortable starting on. While yes they seemed to get into it, I could never escape the vibe. While I am being negative, I will admit I really loved being able to leash the two.
And now for the part I really hated. While yes this was full of Otaku love, pulling references and tropes from them(loved the Madoka one). I loved the background they were very beautiful, and added to the scene! They seems cozy and sweet, and I'd like to have seen the a bit! It's just the characters that bothered me.
When it comes to the new characters, the only one of the three I liked was Wei, and I doubt we'll see him again, I hope he fixes his relationship with Tai, and they get a happy ending! Now the other three, I am mixed on how I feel about things, except Jiro fuck him.Rene I honestly didn't care too much, the only noteworthy things, to me, was him pushing Finn's boundaries and immediately trying to throw him to someone who is very clearly a rapist. The white dog, I forgot his name, and really disgusted with his actions. I will admit, I'm very curious about him since he will be very important to the plot at one point or another! Like his design, so can't see what he throws in.
Now my own segment for Jiro and his wife. I'll be honest, I kinda question why he has a wife, cause you could edit her out and nothing would seemingly change. Now on Jiro... I HATE THAT FUCKING BASTARD!!! I had a lot of hope to see someone so important to Mert, who could help explain why Mert is the man he is today... only to turn out to be the anime perverted old man to the worst degree. I mean, what was the point of making him like that??? It felt like the main joke was " Ahah! He wants to rape the love interests!", and it disgusted me. When I got to his part, I had to drop it for a few hours with how disgusted I was with him in general. While don't get me wrong, you're free to write whatever, but I just can't see the point to this characteristic. It'd been different if it was a moment for Finn to step up and try to protect both of them, or to show that whatever going on with Apple is in fact making changes that he should be? While I mentioned the rapist thing a few times, I can't help but hate him for how he treats his staff, especially Wei. He decides he must change everything to taste the LI food, and places Wei's job on the line! I cheered so loud for him when he quit.
Now with the LI, I was excited to see more cute moments, but instead I was worried for their sake cause of what happened in this update. It was just pure discomfort that was really hard to read, and I was tempted on skipping parts of it cause of the horrid taste it left me with. Cause even in the bar, they showed they weren't interested in anyone else there, just thankfully they were more respectful then some certain old men that should be executed via boiling oil. And honestly, I couldn't help be upset with them with the food contest. I understand they want to impress Finn in hopes of romancing him, but I was concerned with how willing they were to get a guy fired for this contest. I am always excited to see a poly route as an option, I love them, just seems kinda strange it still goes poly if you've only focused on only one of them.
While I will admit I may have gone overboard with this review, I've just been loving this story and these characters and I wanna see more! I'm hoping I didn't go too far and be discouraging, I have faith in you and this vn, and I only wish the best. Also, I'm exhausted cause I haven't slept just yet after binging this vn. I don't believe this chapter reflects the vn or who you are as a person, just kinda confusing honestly. I wish you luck and hope for the future of you and your vn!
And looking back on the review, I very well went on for way too long, my bad!
I'll admit, I was always confused on the whole 'brother' thing, cause the way he described their birth sounded more accord to the concept of 'soulmates'. But if I remember right, that might be a more western concept and in the east it might be more familiar? Will admit, not to shocked, cause look at literally any mythology, you can't really escape the insect whenever a god's family tree is inspected
I've played through everything I think is in this game(might've missed somethings?), and I thoroughly enjoyed everything I've seen! Characters are fun and hot, and traveling is fun! The main problem I have is the text. While playing, I had to guess with some of it, because it'll go outside of the text box, and blends in with the background that I can't really read it. Just to let ya know, I was playing the android version, so it could be android exclusive. Outside of that, loved it and can't wait to see more!!!
I'll be honest, Mert is my favorite so far, thought it was cute that he refers to Finn as (what I think?) beautiful in his mother tongue.
Artyom seems kinda interesting so far, still early to tell if I really like him so far.
And Horgor(shark man if I butchered his name) kinda confuses me, cause I can't tell if he's suppose to be a love interest or not. He's In some choices with the other two love interests, but not the others, and the fact he isn't on the page so it's throwing me off. I will admit, I'm oblivious some, so he might clearly be one or not, and I'm just dumb.
And I do like how it ended, cause I was kinda concerned if the girls caught feelings, only to find out that all three are pursuing Finn instead. Excited for more! And sorry for gushing at this point. Lol
I played through everything that's in the game, everything is so good so far! Excited to see more! The only complaint I have is the tennis mini game, is that part necessary to geting romance points? Cause if so, holy hell was it difficult to score a win. The ball goes so fast that I had to swipe the screen as fast I could, and hope I scored. I wasn't sure if I should mention it cause it could've been not important at all, and just me rambling. I'm sorry if I'm seeming overly negative, it's like literally the one thing I disliked in this hopefully promising project. The characters seem interesting and the 2(3?) love interests seem really interesting, and would love to see more!!! Really liked Zuri and Sumin, they were really cute! While with Riley, I'm hoping her character gets fleshed out more, cause she just comes off as an overly controling bitch. I do like how she worries for Finn a lot! Really loved and can't wait to see more! Sorry that a good portion was for a part of the game that wasn't necessarily to get points!
