I do plan on enjoying more, and excited for what comes up next! I will admit, some of the stuff I mentioned were more personal things, but I still stand by what I said for Jiro. If you intended for him to be silly and not actually a rapist, you might need to work on it.
Where I'm coming from, is that the two love interests who are shown again and again capable of taking care of themselves, are absolutely terrified of this man, to the point they're actively trying to escape him every chance they get. And he makes it very clear of what he wants, and starts chasing them to the point of the two having to hide from him. Absolutely nothing about Jiro suggest or comes off as him not being serious. Now if it were like he'd say a creepy thing, and got a smack for it, that'd show it more humorous. But no, it's just reactions of horror, and Rene and Finn have to call him out on it.
I will admit I have an extreme heavy bias against this trope, but it seems a little more extreme version
