That was the idea i had for this game since i had it. I’m glad it worked out because i wasn’t sure myself if i maybe made it too hard and with the whole numbers tweaking in general.

I get like “there is no game” vibes from this. Pretty fun even though it’s short. :D
I would have loved to just throw the flask around like a physics simulator or shake it and it turns different colours. Maybe even some puzzles with a lab set up where you can mix things into the potion. That could be some ideas you can throw play around with.

You probably already know that sfx and music would be great here. You could try and get some good soundeffects from jsfxr, its a 8-bit sound generator where i got my sounds from. Also some timed power ups could be fun like a short movement speed or damage buff or an additional poison effect like slow or slipperyness so enemies slide around your poison. A new enemy type could also go along way. maybe a minotaur like boss that charges across the room could be a fun thing to try out.

You could maybe add some potions to give you a buff when searching like farther sight or movementspeed. Maybe some Upgrades to the number of items you can carry or craft into a potion. Also some more bioms, some music and some npc.
You could make a great story where you are poisoned by an evil witch and need to cure the poison within more time on hand but make the poison more potent by making it give more debuffs the longer it is active. Maybe the snake (very cute sprite btw) has learned poison from a good witch and need help curing her too.
There are so many ideas and directions you could go. :D
I had fun playing, it was a good jump’n Run, good Job. I especially enjoyed the concept art :P
The only quirky thing i found was dashing into edges with goop on them which insta kills you, but that didn’t happen that often. Also i love how smooth the controlls are, was actually one of the better ones i played :D

I think the the idea is great. :D I like that there are different waves of enemies with more and more spawning over time. Good job!
Have you thought about adding a round or wave system with a bit of breathing room in between so you can build up your defenses a bit? I almost got overrun by the triangle-like enemies and later lost when the spiders came. I totally forgot to add more defenses because i was too busy defending :/

the last game was a bit much at first, with the many obstacles and the short timing but i made it. I really like the names of the deleted files. I could also imagine some folder with like a milion sub-folders to just get to a text like “no” or “congrats” as a fun little easter egg. :P
