This is fun.

To be able to win you need to select not only the best potion for you in the turn, but also leave the opponent with worse options than what you choose.

Towards the end of my play I really had to focus on stopping the Barman, rather than fixing myself.

That was the idea i had for this game since i had it. I’m glad it worked out because i wasn’t sure myself if i maybe made it too hard and with the whole numbers tweaking in general.

I don't know how you set up the poisons, so I could have just been lucky if it was truly random.

With the selections I was getting and that each phase was 4 poisons that didn't refresh each turn, it felt like I needed to strategise to beat it.

Thank you! :D The idea crossed my mind, maybe for a future update.

I also played with the idea of items where you can mix two potions together or add/remove effects. It would give you more options on your turn and would also be interesting for multiplayer.
