The concept is interesting and could work well in a puzzle game too. You could do some variety regarding the rythm at witch the gravity changes. You sometimes have to wait a long time before it changes. You could also add the possibility to run, so you would have even more possibilities of jump length, so more control, and also more risk/reward, and more decision making. Good job !

Thank you !

My bad, yeah I meant roll, as I was only using one hand, I didn't realise there was a whole second set of keys around JL lol. I played on hard mode without knowing. So I meant that it would be easier with WASD on one hand, and roll on an another hand. But it's interesting, because now I tried with JL/IK, and it's much harder than controlling only with wasd and Q/E. WASDQE + JKLIK, is actually super hard mode, it's a lot of keys !

I'm flying to the edge of the world with tron legacy ost (recognizer).

Very good take, very clever. Good potential for speedrun, but even greater potential for a puzzle game where you would have a limited number of wells, and you would have to manage that ressource.

Very good, very ambitious, but you have done well. I maybe would have put the rotation on other keys, so you can control the ship with two hands.

I think that it's a great great game to speedrun and we can see mad times if speedrunners go for it. For me, it's a little bit too punitive when you touch an asteroid and your momentum makes you touch a second one, which stops you for too loong. GG nonetheless.

Nice, thanks !

Great job ryan, amazing even. It would have been 5s everywhere with a few sound effects. Very elegant, and very well done. Level design is good and creative. Great job.

Et encore, on en avait encore plusieurs dizaines sous le coude !

Awesome, thank you man !

Thank you. The indicator is a last minute addition. We made it less clear at the last second, with the fear that it would be too distracting. When you don't know about it, you don't notice (because of the mess), but if you make it clearer, it can add noise to the aldready messy screen. Hard to balance !

Yeah you are right, it's better to have a polished game with a clean mechanic.

Thanks !

Perfect sound design, very satisfying. The game is simple but solid.

I think that the controls are quite original, and when you get used to it, very enjoyable.

Very elegant, and works very well. I love the minimalism. A lack of challenge maybe. You could add surface on the wall that you cannot touch, or gravity well that you need to avoid for example.

Thank you very much !
The third lvl is a wall. If you want to test all 6 levels, after you complete level 1, quit and go back to menu, then press start and you can now choose your level.

Thank you ! Yes, we took all 3 so much time doing our thing (music, art and coding), that we spent very few time on the character controls. When we got something that worked, we jumped rapidly on the level design. We had a lot of discussion indeed regarding the passing of the season, and making it more clear would also mean more visual distraction and maybe something not enjoyable to play (difficult to focus with the background changing all the time too drastically).

After you complete level 1, quit and go back to menu, then press start and you can now choose your level. Some jump are not well balanced and are near frame perfect (you think you jump too soon but the bumper appears at the last moment and make you jump instantly).

Little yellow particules that emanate from the flower for example + a more vibrant color on the plant itself.

The level design is very good for a such short period of time. For it to be more clear, you could use better sprite/animation to indicate that the flower has pollen. Also, the teleporter does not stand out enough, and when you use it, you don't actually see that it has pollen.

Very good for a first game.

I like the general atmosphere. It's a very good idea to explore the use of plants in space for oxygen, and make it a survival game. The game could work better with more polish, better controls, better UI, etc.

For me, the best thing is the science fiction settings and the goal of survival.

Thank you ! It is very possible, but hard.

Thanks !

Yeah I think you are right. We wanted to make the bulb in a way that jumping on it and making it bloom feels rewarding, but the effect do not work as intended.

Regarding game design, we had a hard time getting ideas, and by the time we got this one, we had already king of lost one day, so everything is made on panic mode, or at least without thinking too much on anything and making it right away. We are still learning !

429. Quite clever and addictive, good idea. Maybe the aspect ratio could have been use better : for example, instead of using only half the screen by letting the sunflower in the middle, you start lower, and every time you touch something, you get closer to the top, which increase the danger, and when you collect sun balls, you get closer to the bottom, which gives you air.

Well executed overall, gg.

For a 2 button game, it's actually very good. It's simple yet well executed.

Deeper than it looks. Good little arcade game, simple and well executed.

Simple but well executed. I can see it being expanded with more of everything (bigger map, more ennemies, more hit point, hearts to loot, XP to loot, upgrades).

Maybe the new vampire survivors is here.

Good idea for an incremental game. I can see that game being pushed further. I think it can be a good idea that instead of a top down view, you have a side view, so you can see the horizon, see the sun coming, see if there are clouds, if it will rain, etc. and use those informations strategically.

It would be a good idea to put the pause on a key (space bar for example), so you could pause quickly while managing your worker instead of having to reach the bottom right of the screen. (espacially if you play at x10).

100% agree, absolutely. Idealy, we could have went for a less steep difficulty curve, but we wanted to implement harder levels and new mechanics (wind, ice and more). Not enough time to do that, same for polishing and adjusting the mechanics.

Thanks for you review !

Thanks for playing ! You can help yourself by watching the season behind, sun start the cycle of 4 measure.

Very clever game. As already said, the jump can kill you because it's so long and floaty, but other than that the game works well. GG !

Nice take on the theme. Simple and well executed, good difficulty progression. Very relaxing, it reminds me of Breath of the wild, I dont know why !

Quite charming ! I especially like the character design in this game. Nice take on the theme. I think playing this game can be a nice way to relax after playing ours !

Everything works well, nice polish ! The burrow mechanic is very interesting, but I find the 4 direction controls a bit counter-intuitive (on keyboard at least). Maybe 2 directions (clockwise/counterclockwise) would be simplier, like the super sheep in Worms.

Good job overall !

Thank you ! Need some polishing and adjustments for sure.

Thanks ! Sometimes the rythm can be hard to catch !
