Heya, thanks for the reply! Yes, I did make the email generic, as I used the same address for posting on TIGForms (where I am not associated with my actual name). I am a student at the University of St Andrews.

Hi everyone,
I’m currently preparing for fieldwork as part of a PhD research project focused on how game developers’ perspectives and practices are shaping the future of generative AI in game design. At this stage, I’m looking to connect with indie game devs & studios (based in the UK or US) who might be open to collaborating during the fieldwork period, which runs from early summer 2026 through September 2027.
Collaboration could involve:
- Informal conversations or interviews with team members
- Observational access (on-site or hybrid)
- Studio-based engagement that fits your workflow and comfort levels
Importantly, you do not need to be using generative AI to be part of this study. I’m equally interested in developers who are skeptical of, avoiding, or pushing back against GenAI, and what that tells us about how futures of technology are being imagined within the industry.
I’m also keen to contribute back to the community during my fieldwork. If you or your team would benefit from support with social media outreach, writing, or narrative design, I’d be more than happy to help where useful.
If you’re open to this—or know someone who might be a good fit—I’d love to hear from you. You can get in touch via:

Thanks for reading, and I'm looking forward to connecting!
I recently played this game with a group of three. None of us are frequent tabletop gamers, but we all enjoy roleplaying, which made this game particularly appealing. One of the main reasons I don't usually play tabletop games is the time commitment, so I appreciated that this game included instructions for playing with a time constraint. The flexibility in tone also stood out to me, making the game approachable for a younger audience. We all had a great time creating our characters within the unique game world and found the experience to be a lot of fun.
I do have one minor critique: some of the questions in the game seemed to limit the ability to create a truly individual character. For example, one question required that your character be romantically involved with another character, which became a stumbling block for our group. This was partly due to our odd number of players and also because I had envisioned my character as aro/ace. In the end, we simply skipped that question, which worked fine and didn't negatively impact our experience.
Overall, we all appreciated the game's concept, its worldbuilding, and the artwork in the handbook. I would recommend this game to both seasoned tabletop players and those who are new to the genre.
Hello everyone!
I'm currently working on a Twine project. It follows a conversation between two soldiers after having destroyed a major base of the enemy faction. It may be loosely based on the ending of the first movie of a popular space opera ;)
Will this project be finished in time for the game jam? Probably not. Will it be finished at all? Probably. If you're interested, keep an eye on my page for when I actually do post the final product!
Best of luck with all of your jam submissions!
