Thanks for the extensive feedback! Sound in general, a more intuitive difficulty slider and fixing the problem with double nodes  were defintely planned, but it did indeed take me a lot of time to get the neurons working and also we kinda just procrastinated until basically the last two days. Still  very helpful input, especially if we continue working on the game. Thank you!

Thanks! Yeah, that's defintely something we still need to fix, just had other things that needed to be done first.

Great game, very polished and I loved the general concept. I think the difficulty  of the "work" adjusts to you getting things right or wrong, if so, also very cool. The only thing that got kind of annoying is how quickly the background talking repeats, but  it also adds to the monotony.

Hi, thanks for   trying out the game! You need to reach the yellow node,  the compass in the bottom left shows you in which direction to go.  Everything should also be explained  on the game page, I don't know why it was missing before.

Sure, a screenshot would be very cool. Also I'm interested if it specifically only happens on that ceratin tile, since there's another disalignment bug I know of, resulting from diagonal movement.

Oh my god, this game is literally perfect! I can't believe all sound effects, music, art and animation were made from scratch. Also the levels are designed extremely well, with the new mechanics being introduced in a great pace. As someone who made a (somewhat) similar game myself,  I am really impressed with the amount of well thought out content. My only suggestion is to make the movement smoother by allowing the player to hold down a button to go in a direction for multiple tiles.

Also I remember playing your (flavedogame) submission to Dani's jam about a year ago. It's really cool that you work together with artists to make even better games now!

Thanks for the feedback!  Could you specify what your bug is?

Nice game! Obviously audio would be nice but I'm sure you know that. Other than that, I think the game is almost a bit too easy. Also, a button for skipping your turn would be cool, since it got boring for me having to do that over and over  again.

Great concept that could easily be expanded into a full game! I also love the art style and especially the little animation the coins have.

Here's some things you could improve: The game didn't load in fullscreen for me. Having "space" as a jump button would be good. Also S/Down as dash seems unfitting.  Maybe change it to Q/E (depending on which direction you want to dash in).

Haha yeah diagonal movement is the one """feature""" I just couldn't manage to remove in time.

I agree that the concept is best suited for a mobile game

Nice game and good implementation of the theme! I think the tiles could look a lot better you removed the outlines around each of the tiles, especially the lava.

I really like the level transition, with the bars coming in from top and bottom. I'm genuinely curios how you did that?

I know, but I really don't know what other way there is to do the controls. Do you have any ideas?

Hey, I would be interested. We already have a team consisting of two programmers and an artist. I'm not sure if I'm experienced enough for you (I've only participated in two jams) but I you can check out my most recent work here, which I'm quite proud of.

Thanks! Those changes all make sense but I feel like especially the first two would just make it a different game.  Still a good game, maybe even better, but because you could basically use  only the sphere to move    it  wouldn' t be the multitasking-thing I was aiming for anymore.

Thanks! I know the sound effect isn't great, I didn't have any ideas what it should be. If you can tell me where exactly you're stuck I can help you (if you're even planning on finishing it). And of course I'll be sure to check out and rate your game!

I completed every "Shape-Room" and put one of every Shapes in the shelf, so I just needed to put one of every Shape into the Hub-Doors. Then, however, I somehow managed to fall into the void, and didn't see any way too get back.

Thanks! The feedback sounds good!

I gave the game another shot and had a very pleasant evening playing it, once I understood you don't have to put  the 15 cubes up the  parkour. However I only managed to really enjoy the game with the help of the walkthrough. I feel like some things, especially what things you have to do first in order to progress. Some of the things I got to know through the walkthrough aren't very intuitive and should be included in-game. But, I don't wanna be too hard on you, it is after all a game-jam submission, even though this game is scarily full of content.

Thanks! I know, I do regret not putting a checkpoint in the last level.

+1, the game seems really great,  but 15 cubes is definitely too much

Man, this is great! I especially appreciate the polish! The Win-Animation just looks soooo nice for example!

Yoooo, this definitely should win the category creativity!  It's pretty hard tho, as soon as you're stuck in between enemies, there isn't really a way out....

(1 edit)

Really cool game, i had fun playing.  The text can be hard to read at times.

Also, sounds and music are missing

really cool idea, executed very well! I honestly have no criticism!

Thanks! I know of that bug, you can just walk to the side to get out.

Thanks! Yeah, I didn't really change too much besides sound effects and post-processing.

Great game!

The game is pretty cool, but I think the level system is broken. Whenever I press play, I  get put  in one of three random levels. Completing any of them just makes me unable to  continue playing.

Unfortuately, I can't play the game. YOu submitted it as a .py file, which isn't the best way, but I can open it. The thing is when I run it from my pc there's an error message:

ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'keyboard'

Are you using 3rd party- modules? If so you really can't submit the game as a .py file. Maybe research pyautogui, a module that let's you compile your python code to an .exe

Very nice, visually appealing game! The Buttons are quite small for me and of course there could be more levels. But it's a good idea based on the theme and executed well!

I rated it! Here is my game: https://itch.io/jam/geojam/rate/970191

Thanks!

Pretty nice movement idea! However I will have to say it lacks content. You only move around smashing red orbs, maybe add some different ones. There could be collectable coins, that don't move or enemies that you have to avoid.

Nice game with good music, i actually like the slippy movement. The bullets are pretty hard to  see, tho.

Thanks!
