The idea is cool~ It's like tower defense but, like, "last stand" format.
This is solid but lacks content (which is fair because only 48 hours)
I like the idea of the control scheme. I don't have a controller right now so I don't know if your game supports it but it's something I have always wanted to see - with left stick as move and right stick as attack without having to hold RT button.
Back to the game, the game is decently fun, it's way too difficult for me but I understand it's hard to balance within 48 hours. The music is a little bit repetitive but this may be because I was constantly dying, lol. Also the art is cute.
It's a solid game~
Once I unlocked the first mutation (Sunny), in the following runs I could no longer place anything - not even the very first 25-seed flower. At first I thought maybe it would only affect one run so I waited to lose, unlocked another mutation (the bottom right one) and start another run. But I still couldn't place anything. I had 75 seeds at the start ;-;
Still, I got the general concept. A very solid tower-defense game if I didn't encounter the bug (no pun intended). I liked that you literally start stronger so that you could use your new shiny flower earlier~
Thank you~ Glad you enjoyed it~
Yeah, currently the fish does just *pop* into the scene so I agree that I should have added some kind of warning. At first I thought about adding code like "never spawn too near the player" but I ended up not adding it. In retrospect, I should have just determined on which side the player is and spawn on the other side.
I got kind of unlucky at the very start because I didn't encounter the yellow thingy at first that gives you bigger vision. But otherwise, it's pretty solid~ I like how for each type of enemy you killed gives you a special ability~
The way you control reminds me of Resident Evil or like driving a car where rotating and moving forward/backward are two different control. Not exactly my favorite way to control but I could see some players liking it.
I have skill issue though, lol. It's just really easy to lose. I did discover how to heal (I think it's by killing the same enemy again) but the amount healed is pretty low and it's hard to kill without taking damage. So I ended up never getting all 3 parts at once.
This is great, I had a lot of fun playing this game. I like how powerful some abilities (like Ignite and Shatter) are. And the moment I got "damage + 2" and Ignite is the moment it went from "okay I think I am going to lose" to "this game is pretty easy", lol.
The only question I really have when playing this game is that "evo!" I think it means the flowers gets tougher but I don't feel much difference. Those do draw my attention and make me went to kill them first though.
I like the art~ It can be in a good horror game even though I don't like playing horror game.
This feels like a reverse incremental game. But the DNA/m value doesn't make sense and I have no idea what the human resistance even does. All I did was clicking on evolution button -> click on evolution randomly. Annnnnd I won.
Without reading description, I had no idea what I was doing, lol. Also, the help message at the start disappear way too fast for people like me who read slowly.
Once I understand how to play, though, I like how chill the game is~ Honestly felt that it could some kind of idle game where you tend your little corner garden once in awhile.
This is a pretty nice little game~ The direction is quite unclear - took me a good minute to figure out what I should even do but it's easy enough to figure out after a bit of trial and error. It can get a bit enraging because how easy it is to die in this game. Good thing each death isn't that punishing because of the save points.
It's pretty cute~ The interface is really clear and well polished and the animation is just charming!
The only thing I dislike is probably the sound effect. I didn't turn down the sound effect volume at first and it kind of become irritating as there are more and more bunnies, lol. I later just muted sound effect.
