Thanks for the positive comments and the feedback guys! :D

lol nice

I really like the title! The game is a well-executed vampire survivors style roguelike.

Good job!

GREAT FUCKING GAME(lol)! I love the text you added, and the Platforming feels good and responsive, i liked the easter egg with the black box.

Good job!

I love the aesthetic and the game is creative, controls are comprehensive and gameplay is fun!

Good job!

Well made!

Fun retro style game!

Cool game

Cool game

Love this game. Exactly the idea i first had when the jam started, but i changed to a cheap copy of a game.

I think haggling should make you gain more cash a bit more consistently since i was just getting 2$ offers on my 12$ umbrella though.

Good job!

Cool ripoff! I made it to question 10 then gave up lol. The questions are good and creative, good job!

Well executed "cheap copy" of a game! Good job!

WOW! That is impressive man, good job! I'm happy you liked the ending, and was able to play the game succesfully! Thanks for the feedback, I'll implement it in all upcoming games when the control scheme gets too complicated.

Thanks for playing (and for the feedback)!

Thanks for playing! The input map is in the description https://aleziz01.itch.io/whaling, and you sure got the right idea for the game lol, you get 10x damage if you hit the right whales with the right guns, but the game is beatable even if you dont do that.  (the shoot key is shift btw)

Good luck!

Nice game, I like the outer wilds reference!

Cool game, I like the sprites!

Nice atmosphere and cool sound effects! I really like the art. The Tpose was funny.

10/10

Beautiful main menu and artstyle! I like the story.

Simple platformer. I like the possession feature

Great job on the shadows! This is a good first game, I'm sure you learned a lot from this experience!

I like the ball textures

Thanks for the feedback!

Thank you!

Very fun! Good and responsive gameplay! Overall 10/10

Nice game! Reload animation is goated! The only thing i want is more! More upgrades, enemies, a story and some other weapons and you could have a game on your hands! (Just remember to keep it original!)

Good game, had fun. I think that the borders of the map should have sprites and the left and right mouse button indicators should be swapped. Overall good.

I dont get how the game ties into the theme, but its a good rage game!

Great game! I love brutal orchestra so this was a blast! The textbox is nice to look at and i like the enemies sprites. The story is good and the three rerolls were a great strategy mechanic. Good game!

Great game, loved every bit of it! The idea of haunted circuits sure is an original one! The particles added the necessary juice that the game needed. Awesome game. Good job.

I like the artstyle, cool luigi's mansion inspired flashlight, I think that searching the cupboards got a little repetitive but overall pretty good game.

Cool game, the audio gets a little obnoxious at times, and a fast forward option would be nice, but overall a good experience!

Cool concept, didnt expect to see a puzzle game in this jam, I'd like to see the gravity toned down a lil, but other than that, a good and original experience!

Dope concept and cool voice acting!

Great game, good job on the lighting and AI!

Good game, Love the sound design, controls feel a bit wonky, I'd make it so that the new input overtakes the old one (so you can change direction whenever you want, not having to stop pressing the button), but overall a great and fun experience!

its hard to explain, but basically what i did was define different color amounts that a customer can choose from(a bit, some, a good amount, a lot)  and each section of the sword(the handle, hilt and blade has different verification algorithms, the blade should be sharp so i check that, the hilt should also be sharp and the handle can be either blunt or sharp and i made a variable for these two posibilities too. The sharpness algorithm sorts the positions that were saved for rating either from top to bottom(y for blade) or from bottom to top(y for handle) and then the pixels are also sorted according to the x axis for the hilt. After the sorting algorithms run(i used a simple bubble sort), i compare different y values to determine the sharpness. The color is quite simple, i count the number of pixels found for the wanted color, then i compare that with the amount wanted(a bit, some, a good amount, a lot). Thanks for your feedback, hope this clarified what i did.
