This pack contains 14 seamlessly loopable, dark, rhythmic industrial tracks (16-bit, 44.1kHz wav files) and 31 mins, 39 secs of original music.

This pack is aimed at horror games with a larger emphasis on combat and chase sequences. Most of the tracks in this music pack feature heavy use of percussion and rhythmic sound effects to create tense, high-energy atmospheres that are perfect for boss fights, enemy encounters, ambushes, chases, and escapes. Four of these tracks have an alternate version with either the drums solo'd out, or with just the industrial ambiance without the drums. This allows the game developer the possibility of having a suspenseful, ambient area theme without percussion when it's safe, and then a rhythmic, percussive version for when it gets dangerous. Warehouses, factories, asylums, prisons, sewers, and slaughterhouses are just some of the locations that inspired the sounds in these brutal, blood-pumping tracks!

The art style is really unique and eye-catching! Love the Lovecraftian influences, and the dynamic health bar sounds like a really interesting challenge for a game mechanic

Challenging but fair platforming! Cute art style and relaxing music helps to keep the player less frustrated by deaths lol

I can't tell you how grateful, excited, and humbled I am :) it was a thrill to play, and it's made my entire month!

Of course I'm going to be biased, as I wrote the music, but I just have to sing the praises of this short, thrilling horror rpg! I was able to finish it in just under an hour, albeit on easy difficulty lol. I appreciate the difficulty settings and the options to skip puzzles (I did skip the actual picture-puzzle puzzle after trying for awhile - I've been terrible at those since I was a kid), but the rest of the puzzles throughout the game were very intuitive and I'm curious to play it again on a higher difficulty and see how it changes the experience! I particularly like the mask puzzle - not only did it connect two separate room materials, I think it really alluded to the history of the area you learn about later in the game. I wonder if I'm correct about who those masks belong to...

The chases were fair but unnerving, with just enough hiding spots and a very creepy antagonist! A unique twist on the Pinnochio story, it was interesting to have Geppetto portrayed in, well, let's just say a much darker light than he usually is. In signature Dossow style, you get the option of multiple endings, all of which are worth trying out!

You never know when you're safe - I suggest you save frequently ;)

Wow, this was a dream come true! Thank you Dossow, for letting me be part of this super creepy, moody horror rpg! I had a blast playing it :) it's made my entire month

You're very welcome, and thank you! Your kind words mean a great deal to me, and I would be truly honored to have some of my music wind up in one of your games. I'll definitely stay tuned for your future projects!

This collection of dark synthwave tracks is specifically designed to add momentum and energy to fast-paced, action-packed games! Whether it’s a Cyberpunk shooter, sci-fi action-adventure, or dystopian RPG, if your game has cyberpunk, sci-fi, or futuristic elements, these synth-laden tracks will help immerse your player in that world. Thick walls of bass, driving drum rhythms, dizzying arpeggios, and icy synth leads saturate this blood-pumping music pack! Perfect for area exploration, fighting sequences, boss battles, and driving sims.

Gameplay: Nothing felt too difficult or obvious. The puzzles were fun and I'm not usually a fan of puzzles in horror games - these didn't feel frustrating. I like that this game made me /want/ to make the 'wrong' choices, just to see what would happen - and it was worth it. I appreciated the generous save system as it encouraged you to experiment more with your choices because you knew you weren't going to be punished for it with a lot of backtracking.

Story: I thought it made use of classic 80s horror tropes in nostalgic and endearing ways, but also had some nice twists that were personal to Alesa. Mr. Bob was especially unique, as it was kind of unclear the whole time whether he was a supernatural entity or a figment of Alesa's mind. The way her house call was explained away at the end felt believable and thought out.

Horror: Playing this in the pitch dark was a thrilling experience! The jump scares were sudden, the sound design and music kept me tense throughout, and the 8bit gore and grainy filters made for a very creepy visual experience. I love this kind of lofi/retro art style in horror especially.

Theme: As someone with family trauma, I feel a sort of extra pull to these games. There's a kind of catharsis with engaging with these sorts of themes in horror. For the same reasons I like films like Hereditary, I like the themes of twisted family dynamics in this game. I like how vague Alesa's past is - it makes you wonder how she grew up. What made her decide to do this sort of work in the first place? Why did Mr. Bob find her so early? What were her parents really like? And Greta was a very interesting addition of the family. You kind of feel bad for her, and I actually liked the Greta ending - it's a sobering, perhaps more realistic outcome and gives a very tragic pang to the heart.

Aleksis Tristan Shaw · 8-Bit Graphical Adventure

This pack contains 10 seamlessly loopable, authentic 8-bit chip tracks (16-bit wav files) and 20 mins, 22 secs of original music.

This pack is divided into two 8-bit styles: 5 tracks are modeled after the NES sound chip, and another 5 are modeled after the original Game Boy sound chip. All tracks are produced to be as authentic sounding as possible and conform to the limitations of the time. While my previous 8-bit pack incorporated use of additional sound channels and subtle use of basic modern effects (EQ, reverb, delay etc.), this pack eschews all of that for tracks that sound like they were pulled directly from those retro game systems! This makes it a perfect asset for retro/pixel art style games; particularly those with a fantasy slant or a “blobber”, turn-based, RPG/dungeon crawl approach. “Point-and-click” style graphical adventure games will also get great use out of these tracks. Each style includes a hub world theme, travel theme, area exploration theme, and fight theme. Some tracks include a version with and without the use of the noise channel for percussion.

Aleksis Tristan Shaw · LOOPABLE MUSIC PACKS FOR GAME DEV ASSETS

BandCamp here: https://aleksistristanshaw.bandcamp.com/

What a quirky, fast-paced game! The mechanics were self explanatory, I figured out how to do the necessary crew management in two tries, and the fast polka music was a light-hearted way of inducing some sense of chaos and immediacy. I also really liked the somewhat random and absurd text alerts from the system. Really great, short game!

Really eerie lighting and visual design, love how it looks!

This pack is currently part of a horror music bundle for the next 7 days (That's almost 40 horror music tracks for just $20)
