This was super good!! I want more!

(1 edit)

Wow! This was great. Very well polished game. I like the music you used, and paired with the visuals it made me feel strangely nostalgic. Terrific work!

This was nice! Though A few comments on the visuals:

  • The reference resolutions for the assets weren't designed consistently. The slime sprites don't match the pixel size of the other sprites. It's a very important aspect of designing pixel art for games to match the pixel ratios of every asset. Though the slimes themselves looked pretty!
  • The spikes would blend into the background sometimes. This made it hard to properly navigate through a level on the first try. An outline on the spikes would have helped with this immensely.
  • Although it may have been a stylistic choice, try and avoid jaggies and stray pixels in the art! This can be seen everywhere on the background assets,

I did enjoy the music though! As well as the color palette you used for this, nice and vibrant :D Movement took some getting used to, but it's on the right track! Good work.

This gets pretty intense! It's a nice and simple idea, but there are a few things you could do to aid the gameplay: - The hazardous planets aren't really distinct enough at first, and I found myself moving my Eatopians towards the gas-like planets a lot

- The asteroids are really fast! There isn't much of a warning before one flies into the screen, and their sheer speed makes the window to move Eatopians out of the way is pretty tight because of it

- There are some quirks with Eatopian velocity when they collide together, this could be intentional but I just wanted to point it out

Despite that though you did pretty well with the idea! Good work.

This was cute! Though the last level in particular felt a bit harsh on the eyes. The game has a nice cute concept! Would have been really nice to see the levels designed more towards the individual strengths of the two bears, and maybe a way for the two to interact outside of camera movements.

Spooky! I was able to get all the ghosts and pulled the lever, but the door to the exit wouldn't really open? Nonetheless I like the idea of switching between two view modes, it was an interesting mechanic that added to the atmosphere :D Though I'm not quite sure how this game fits with the theme of the jam, you did a great job!

Thank you! The ropes were a nightmare for me haha! Our artists appreciate the compliment :D

This is pretty good! Though the tutorial felt very much like a big information dump, and I couldn't really follow the mechanics all too well. Though from what I could manage to figure out, the game was pretty nice! I am absolutely in love with the art style and theme! Great work!

Love the art style! Though maybe the camera following the dog's rotation may cause some nausea. There also seem to be quite a few bugs with acceleration. +Points for having cute dog as the player character though

I love it! Music is nice and calming, and the visuals are clean and simple. A thing that may add a lot more to the experience is to make it progressively harder as it goes on. I'd love to see a mobile release of this soon!

I couldn't land the ship properly at all! The tutorial was pretty difficult for what it had to teach, though I'm sure a lot of work went into the levels afterward!

Hey! Cute idea :D Though I wasn't really able to play the game, my ship wouldn't really blast off :(

Hey I was going to give your game a shot but the executable wouldn't run :(

Hi, is there a limit for team sizes?

Thank you! If you want to see more of my art please feel free to check out the links on my profile :D

Thanks! Check out my pages to see more of my art if you like them :D

Took me a couple tries to complete! Though I did feel a little confused on the mechanics at first :D Though it was pretty entertaining given the jam restrictions!
