Good fun, love the way your choices of words conveyed the tone of the character's grandiose self-pity.

Very well done! One of my absolute favorites in this jam. The play on words with "cattle-ised" was especially clever. Loved the ending too. Feeling of inevitability. Wonderful read!

I don't normally stay for vampiric stories but this one was a gem. I love the premise of the lord's appreciation of his own demise! The details really put me in his kingdom and fleshed out the setting!

This is definitely one of the standout stories of the jam for me. You have a great character voice and you kept me hooked from the very first paragraph to the poignant ending. Well done!

Really good story! I loved the point of view from the Vampire Lord, plus the whole narration was just excellent.

Gotta love a good evil vampire! A lamentable circumstance to be sure.

Your ability to thoroughly entrench a consistent personality that just screams "Dickish Vampire Noble" throughout the whole story is amazing. The first person perspective of a memoir fits a narrative of his final thoughts, and is an excellent portrayal of his retrospection on what lead him to his fate. Any complaints I could have would only be nitpicks. This was a wonderful story, bravo!

Thanks! It was a lot of fun tuning in the character voice for the POVamp, and I'm glad to see it resonated well.
