Okay, so I went back and tried to get to the Cave of Truth without collecting any of the glowing orbs, but there is one orb blocking the entrance to the cave. Am I doing something wrong?
This is slowly going into spoiler territory, so i can just say that you can win in 2 different ways, and because of that there are 2 trophies.
