incredible game. it feels amazing to move around in, i spend like 30 minutes in the lobby just playing around with the movement (and figuring out what the "no w" meant)

i really like the bosses, it takes a bit to get used to the fast moving one in the air, but it feels very satisfying to hit, i love the different arenas and moving around in them, though i wish there was some health bars for the bosses (and it looked like there was from the trailer, not sure why they werent in the game), but other than that, the concepts for the bosses are great.

genuinely dont have any complaints about it, all the music, sound effects, and art are just incredible, probably my favorite game in the jam.

gets too chaotic for me about 4 bosses in, so this was my highest score, amazing game!

Really love the movement in this one, spent more time in the lobby mastering the parkour then in the actual game, but it's not particularly a good thing for a couple of  reason's...

Firstly the enemies they are really spongy and really doesn't look like a bosse's, more of a level hazard, the endless pits with respawn above another abyss is more dangerous than them. Boons are also really weak and in  my opinion  and only make gameplay harder, not more fun or challenging, just harder(like the slow big bullet that's becoming unusable on the fast cube after the couple of cycles). 

The movement and the game flow on the other hand are magnificent, everything starting from main hub, arenas, location with artefacts, music and graphics is phenomenally cohesive and soooooo stylish. This game has so much character and passion put into it that makes me really mourn  the unintuitive at all base of movement tech(the tutor about holding space would save me 20 minutes of learning the mega-jump) and really boring shooting part. 

With this vision you have but extrapolated on the shooter aspect of the game, it would be one of the best new age movement shooters, but even now it's really fun to just be in the game, not really fun to play as intended.

I really enjoyed this one. Would love to see this fleshed out into a full release I think it could do very well its very unique. Music, visuals, and everything was amazing. Great work.

Really sick game, i like the visual style, the movement is nice but a bit confusing to learn the boost thing in the hub, took me half an hour to figure it out. The upgrades are a really good for the theme, but my only problem with them is that there's more than one that makes dying easier but only one that gives you a health benefit (the revive). The music is fantastic, and I hope you succeed in developing the game further.

I tried to record a video of my gameplay because i thought it'd be good to show the game from my perspective but sadly it freezes up after the first 20ish minutes.

This game is super fun!! I really liked the upgrades that were there, though admittedly I didn't really feel the burn with some of them -- for example the extra jump was immensely helpful even though I barely noticed the lack of air control.

That being said, the upgrades are still well done and make sense, and more importantly the game itself is super fun. The player feels really good to control, and every action you can take just has so much umph. The game itself is incredibly well-done.

My only real complaint is that the boss design felt somewhat lacking up until there were multiple bosses per round.

This game doesn't have juice, it has the ENTIRE orange tree in it wow. I genuinely can't think of another FPS that has a controller that feels this good! A small nitpick is I would have liked it if there was some feedback for when you hit a boss tho, something like a healthbar, a sfx or a hitflash would probably fit perfectly. My friend Gabi already told you the rest of my opinion below lol, so yeah, amazing job!

Thank you so much! And Thank you for the feedback, ill def be adding some more feedback whenever the player shoots a boss, giving them hitflash sounds perfect. There was originally boss health bars (you can see in the screenshots) but unfortunately they don't display for some reason blehh..

I might have been playing for an hour and needed to stop so I can take dinner jajaja. Seriously, this game is such a fucking blast!

When I saw how you applied the theme on the page it left me a bit curious because it can be really hard to feel powerups substantial to a point were it looks like such a exchange... BUT HOLY SHIT you made a good job with it (still, the theaming might fall a bit short still), I was straight up laughing when I saw my orb shoot like 10 cannon balls per second at stupid rates that go slower than the movement speed on Unreal 2. The shotgun jump? Daikatana would be jealous, the melee is so useful both to gain heigh, correct movement or even stop entirely your momentum!

Some of the icons for the perks gave me a stupid smile as well, was not expecting the random one and jar the first time I saw them lol

The style, oh my... It looks so beautiful, those chunky textures and enviroments are superv, the only thing missing for me is more boss variety or difficulty. It ended up feeling more like anoyying enemies than bosses to fight.

Your music too was so good, exactly what I was expenting from a game lookng like this (gonna check your bandcamp later while working). Overall one of the best games I played this jam, I SERIOUSLY want to see this game finished or at least one more update with some more cool content. You did such a rad job here B)

I will be continuing to work on the game and improving its rough spots, I do recognize the problem with the bosses and how annoying they can be (you know THAT boss), its something I definitely plan to fix..

but WOW reading this made my week, I don't know what else to say other than thank you so so much, your a legend! <3

Very cool game. The art style is so effective and full of character, loved the music too! Although I would have liked for it to have a little more feedback when hitting bosses. I was, at the beginning, a bit lost because I thought the bosses where unkillable lmao. 

Also there is quite a lot of time where I just died on loop because I were spawned very high and couldn't manage to get to the platform when falling, but that's mostly just a skill issue ngl.

Other than that, it's probably one of my favourite game yet visually and musically wise. And I'm astonished you managed to do all of this alone! Great job!

The most enjayable game i've played on the jam! Shotgun-jump mechanic is soooo goood, soooo juicy and fun to play, i spend 30 minutes in the hub mastering it and getting to the top xd. You should release this game, it will be next cult boomer shooter. Game only missing swompy-wompy sliding mechanic and enemies that will fckn explode on kill and cover everything in blood.

I'm a big fan of old school shooters, and your game does justice to the genre. The movement is very smooth and the fact that your weapon and melee can give you momentum is something I love in this kind of game. My biggest complaint would the lack of feedback when hitting an enemy, since there were many times I finished a level and though I was on a cooldown. Maybe showing the boss die (and a death animation) before changing level would of been nice.

But I will definitely keep an eye out if you continue this project.

I fall so many time lol. I like the mechanics and the game feeling is great, is like Unreal tournament and Minecraft having a children. Special greeting on the FX that are simple and really efficient.

I was just a bit lost on some maps sometimes.

Very cool game, reminded me of quake a bit with the fluid movement, which I found to be a refreshing aspect. The art style was visually appealing, and the music added to the overall atmosphere nicely. Your interpretation of the theme was well-executed, and I particularly enjoyed the design of the bosses. However, I did encounter a bug during gameplay: occasionally, when falling off a platform into the void, respawning would result in either falling back into the void or landing back on the platform, which disrupted the flow of the game. Additionally, falling into the void and taking damage caused the HP number to overflow to the right. Despite these issues, I found the game to be highly enjoyable overall. Great job!

Thank you for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it! The hp overflow I discovered is caused by taking damage from the flying boss while having the bell pepper item, it displays a bunch of decimals in the health gui which looks uglyy, but shouldn't affect game play.
