Cool Boss Rush this was well done. i enjoyed the exchange mechanic that you used it was cool to see such a variety of equipment. The look of this game was stunning as well. The bosses were cool and fun to learn. Thanks for the great game and good luck.
Really wished to play hardcore after the ending, that's saying something) Cool final boss design and PoE homages, but other's were kinda goofy looking.
The third boss is my main and only big complaint, because if you don't just lean on the ring and let it push you on the straight line on the ledge - you screwed. Consistency on that ledge is not possible if you aren't perfect, that stage, not the boss, stage killed me on all of my hardcore runs. Also, the bow is just stupid strong, but quite fun in that way)
Cool exchange mechanic, great final boss, nice fun game!
Thank you! Yeah definitely agree the ring master's stage is the real boss fight, which is not an approach I'll take in the future I don't think.
Nice ambient music, visuals are well made, Great game overall.
Ring Master was the favorite. The Sovereign of shackles sound was reversed.
Fun bosses! Impressively done for the amount of systems and general completeness of the game for a month. I found myself losing health really quick even on easy difficulty, the dodge has a pretty tight timeframe but I think its fun and a good challenge regardless.
Really cool bosses! And the gameplay is very tight and responsive, had fun with this one. Ringmaster attacks felt a little too fast if anything. Really good job!
This was really fun! The bow does feel really cheesy, so I stuck to the sword for the Hard mode runs and it was really challenging. Great use of the theme!
I loved the art. Good Job! It looked liked it took a lot of time and effort to make. I loved playing your game.
Thank you! Learned a lot this jam.
Nice!
I genuinely had a great time playing your game! The bosses were enjoyable and offered a unique challenge. My only minor concerns were the somewhat inconspicuous red gem on the first boss and the thin bridges in the second boss encounter. Apart from these, the bosses were well-designed and engaging.
The atmospheric music, while not stealing the spotlight, complemented the gameplay effectively. The art style, reminiscent of the PlayStation 2 era, added a cool nostalgic touch. I also appreciated the out-of-the-box application of the theme, bringing a unique twist to the overall experience.
The controls were responsive and contributed to a smooth gaming experience. Overall, I had a fun and memorable time with your game!
Tried playing around with the tutorial boss's lighting to make it more obvious it's the weak point, but yeah its still pretty innocuous. Thanks for playing!
Really nice game! And what a plot twist! I really enjoyed the PoE/Souls style gameplay, and the use of the theme is amazing. I loved how it's not always a free upgrade, you must exchange equipment even if the options are not good, it really makes you think about what you pick. Good job!
