What do I need to do after the second flag. Pretty hard, but a nice artstyle :)
Nice art style! I really liked your submission. My only complaint is that it is a little too hard. One of my favorite game developers advice to other game developers is "If you think the game is too hard, then its too hard. If you think the game is too easy, its probably perfect." Great submission overall!
Really liked the pixel art. It's very well done!
The game is a bit too difficult in a way that doesn't feel entirely fair! The enemies that shoot at you can feel unpredictable at times, so maybe having some sort of indicator for the player that they're ready to shoot could be really helpful. The vertical movement feels pretty good. I'd recommend maybe playing a bit with acceleration and deceleration time on the horizontal movement, see if that's something you like!

I do think its slightly funny how many games decided to connect slimes with the theme though. Anyways I think that the game has a lot of potential I just think that you needed to make the game easier. Another thing is to that I would recommend making the deaths less jarring by having the screen lag behind the player so its not just like the screen suddenly changing. I do love the chicken sprite though. Its really good and gives very stardew valley vibes.
