i like the shot and slash mechanic, it give the game a good sense of risk and reward, you can shot from far away but it will deplete the boss hp slowly making you go troughts the battle more longer, or you can try to get some risky attack with your sword and if you actually good enought to hit it in rapid succession skip some part of the boss pattern because of huge chunck of the boss hp gone. the boss attack pattern although quite simple is difficult. my most favorite one is the spinning bullet attack that move in clockwise motion while there was a chain wall around i feel it the most fun out of all the boss attack. overall it was great game.

That risk/reward was my goal with the main character's attacks, I'm glad it worked out and that you enjoyed it!
