Hey Spedu, quick question, did you remove the click movement from 0.16? because that really fucks me up since some of my arrrow keys are broken, Is there anyway to go around this, Or if it is a glitch how can I fix it? And I am probably not the only case with broken buttons, so if it is intentional or a glitch I'd recommend securing click controls so that you don't loose supporters for this awesome game
Mouse navigation was never supposed to be a part of this game, so it eventually got removed, yes. It caused too many issues. Does your keyboard's numpad still work? In that case, you can still move using the 4-8-6-2 buttons (4 for left, 8 for up, 6 for right and 2 for down). If you absolutely HAVE to rely on mouse controls, use this tutorial https://spedumon.itch.io/small-on-top/devlog/628915/mouse-wont-work-in-new-publi...
Did you install the right plugin? Check this tutorial for details https://itch.io/t/1278376/how-to-play-on-android Also, make sure you download the lastest versions from the Joiplay website https://joiplay.cyou Cuz their Google store hasn't been updated in a while. If all that doesn't help, then I'm afraid I dunno either.
After you call the pink dragon gay in Safen, he's in the Bangers club at the Gloomy Forest, after that at the Western Island Beach, and then there's a chance for him to appear at the gloryhole at the restrooms of the harbor in Shiptown. Just leave and re-enter until there's a pink "4" above the right door. After that, he appears in the last cell of the bunker on Pine Island. Just talk to him again upstairs after the final scene to claim your reward. Wulfrick's butt balls are in the southers area of Pine Island, and the magician for the Market Hall is on the second floor of the fire dungeon, after the third fire guard take the way to the left and follow the hallway to a prison cell. And the armorsmith is right in the starting area of Pine Island. If you're having more problems, I recommend checking out the walkthrough https://docs.google.com/document/d/1RfA3evYulYL2F-3G-RZmgUqjejens8RLvOa2mrfrsAM/
Do you still have save files from before you pick up the purple fruit on Pine Island? That might help. Otherwise, try re-downloading the game, and use the prepackaged save files. Save 03 puts you right on Pine Island just before you're about to leave with the purple fruit in your inventory, and I promise you won't be losing any items, solved quests, unlocked scenes, or be underleveled using those files. You only need to remember to switch your equipment, spend all your free stat points, and maybe visit the ID machine in the Gloom Forest to change the Adventurer's name back to what you were using.
Yes, there is a hidden item you can get in the shack, but you gotta have a specific quest item in your inventory for that to work first. Check the "Spoopy Secret Stuff!" sub-chapter in the walkthrough for details https://docs.google.com/document/d/1RfA3evYulYL2F-3G-RZmgUqjejens8RLvOa2mrfrsAM/...
You can check the walkthrough if you're looking for specific items and stuff https://docs.google.com/document/d/1RfA3evYulYL2F-3G-RZmgUqjejens8RLvOa2mrfrsAM/ Once you got the document open, press CTRL+F to open the search bar. In your case, type in "Note Piece", and you can jump straight to the points in the walkthrough where the note pieces are being mentioned. Here's the solution for where to find Note Piece 2#, for example. Just navigate the search bar to the remaining ones.
Sun Protection: Talk to the horse at the beach (head left after you enter the beach) while you're wearing a speedo. Bottle Filler: Fulfill Bob's quest at the Market Hall, aka bring him his Special Bottle from his sister's house in Safen. Sword Smith: Do Vogla's quest at the Market Hall, where you gotta bring him his bag from the rat cave (it's right where you originally found him). As for the golden door, you need to unlock Rubyro's scene in the Fire Dungeon. To do that, you must collect his entire armor set from the chests in his throne room. In other words, you gotta finish the entire Fire Dungeon three times and collect your loot every time. If you're still looking for stuff, you can check out the walkthrough. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1RfA3evYulYL2F-3G-RZmgUqjejens8RLvOa2mrfrsAM/ Google Docs has a search function (CRTL+F) which allows you to search directly for the things you're looking for, so you don't have to read the entire document
In most cases, you can just copypaste the entire save-folder in "Small On Top/www" from the previous version into the next one (the config and global-file are also important). However, RPGMaker can be a fickle program when it comes to loading older save files in a newer version with new scripts and stuff. If you're upgrading from 0.17 to 0.18 (or from 0.61 to 0.62 if you're a Patreon), you should be good to go, but in other cases, you might have to use a save file from before you first entered the freshly updated areas (it's always good to keep a save file where you haven't entered Piratetown yet, as that's the area where things become WIP in the game).
The walkthrough can help you.
The magician is on the 2nd floor of Fire Dungeon and the tailor is in the forest where you can fight the crocodile and the bear, after Logtown.
Hello, I have two small problems
1: I have encountered Nick and talked to the slime at Pine Island, but Nick's Home didn't open up for me on the world map. I have only noticed this after going more into the story have have done the current plot line for Foxot.
2: Now for the Piratetown Side Quest "When you try to head upstairs you are given the option to ask either of your party members to join you, which rewards you with the following scenes: “Upstairs with Lace”, “Upstairs with Wulfrick”, and “Upstairs with Fucko”". Where and how do I start this one?
I have the walkthrough open and used it as a loose guild to follow. I don't mind restarting my progress and needing to follow the right steps, but it would be nice if I don't need to. Again, I have done the Foxot plot line, though he is still there in the Volfox lounge.
Are you by any chance using a save file from a way older version of the game? RPGMaker tends to have problems loading certain scripts once you've already passed the triggering point in the game in the save file, that'd be my first guess if Nick's home doesn't show up for you on the map. That's why each update comes with prepackaged save files, so people don't lose all their progress any time this might happen. As for point 2, that's not a quest, in 0.59 Spedu changed the purple tiger's home, so that merely trying to go up the stairs would trigger the text box asking if you wanna get up there with someone. You can try to re-download the game and use preset save file 02 on version 0.63, which puts you on Pine Island with your party level 22. However, Nick's home has already been unlocked there and his items been picked up, so you won't get the introduction cutscene and additional interactions, I'm afraid. If you're playing public version 0.18, you can try save file 02 on there, which puts you at the end of the Beach Cave, just before you enter the pirate ship for the first time. Yeah, you'll be losing a lot of progress, but at least you won't have to start from the beginning. (If you're using Joiplay, I'm afraid I can't help you.)
Yes, you can find him in the public version, too. After you find him at the Banger's Club and at the beach, he randomly shows up in the restrooms at the harbor in Shiptown. Just leave and re-enter until there's a pink '4' above the right stall door, and then enter the middle one. After that, he's in the last prison cell on Pine Island. If you got more questions like that, you can check the walkthrough
Check the "The Key to the Fire Dungeon" sub chapter in the walkthrough
Hmmm. This is the first time that I've heard of this happening. Might be something on your computer that can't handle the game. I'm not savvy with that kind of stuff, I guess my best bet is to google the problem and see if other people have had similar problems. The engine is "RPG maker MV" so searching something like "rpg maker mv computer freezing" might give answers.
