I love the art style. A friendly and simple tone to this fun game. The fishing mechanic was difficult for me to get used to at first, but then I figured out that it was best to pull when the fish was turned towards the fisher. The music was very fitting too. I got third place!

I personally struggled, really hard, with the reeling on this one. It's a lot of effort just for the fish to get away.

You did well, but that is a gripe I personally have.

If anything, I would suggest making the "rod break" bar become the topmost element and keeping it horizontal at all times. It was a little hard to read when there were other fish around.

Apparently I suck at fishing but I am charmed! While the art has only lines and the concept is simple, Everything looks and works really well together.  I especially like how you incorporated your adorable cat into explaining the controls, nice touch! :) 

This looks really nice! I think you really delivered on the art style I wanted to try this jam. All the characters and their animations are cute, and breathe a lot of life into the small space of the world. The different environments are nice, too. The gameplay was simple, but functional. Impressive work for a single person!
