Interesting game! I also like the reloading mechanism.

the reloading was super unique, and as enemy numbers increased it became harder to manage your ammo effectively. i got to 87 score. if anyone got higher lmk so i can beat you

That reloading mechanic was INTENSE. I actually felt really strong immersion into the anxiety of this atmosphere, with the sound design and melancholic music foreshadowing the inevitable, as I was eventually pushed to reload one bullet in between every single kill shot, barely keeping up with their numbers at 60...61...62 dead — i can take out as many of these 'bad guys' as i want, but in the end, what will I really accomplish? No matter what, they will overpower me and breach my stronghold... except I will have their blood on my hands now, too...

Very well done!

I really enjoy the balance of not fully reloading, and reloading while watching the outlaws still approaching you real time. Nice simple controls with reloading getting realistically harder under pressure.

This was how I imagined my game to be in its initial concept. Great great, I love to reload mechanics.

Feedback and opinions:

  • You can currently kill the bad guy by just lining up the mouse, I think it would be improved if the mouse had to be at least a certain distance from them too.
  • It would be nice if the bad guys zigzag across, rather than just straight line, and possibly have line sight issue with rocks etc.

The reload mechanic is really interesting, and well thought out - it's fun having to think about something that's usually automated in video games. Kind of reminds me of Cruelty Squad.

Besides that, I found this game to be quite wonderful. Simple, but with a fun mechanic that makes the whole thing interesting. I think the audio was the only part that was lacking (I think that the sounds were inconsistent in quality, like the amazing music contrasting with the gunshot that repeated twice and sounds like it was recorded with a tin can), but everything else here is golden. I'd like to see what you can do without a three (and a half) hour limit :)

this game is awesome, simple yet awesome. And the loading mechanic is very interesting, I struggle a little bit first finding out that you must place the bullet in the hole, but other than that nice game.
