Good concept, very interesting use of the form. I think a tutorial would have been amazing.

“you should not leave this page”, first thing I click opens an other page XD

Really cool puzzle game. Very creative, and makes us need to think out of the box. So much so that I couldn’t resolve room 3 :’) maybe I’ll try later. It’s cool that you voice acted the first room.

I like this game!

Nice game! I felt the game was really cool, but I don't want to fill out google forms. I want to play! ;) This game was great! GG! If you have time could you rate my game?

Creative use of limitation, and cool to see voice acting in a jam game. I didn't expect the QR code to work with how poorly I placed those pieces, but technology is scary I guess.

You guys went all in on the limitation. I can respect that :D

This game has a lot of potential, I'm not a fan of puzzle games, but the concept of using external things to pass through the doors is really fun, it got me! I liked each puzzle

I won't lie, I got a bit stuck in the graph room, because I did not know about the Desmos software. Maybe you should put a link to the website or something, just to make it clear

Other than that, you did a nice work! I wasn't expecting that ending haha

So, I played this game. Good job. The way you use applications may be a good idea. I saw the progress of this project develop to some extent. The thing is that there are some things that were a little lame. I didn't have any issues with some of it because I already knew some of the answers, but I felt the first room wasn't clear enough for a newcomer. Also, maybe this was intended, but copy and paste for Desmos could have been nicer though by the way you actually took the time to get the equations and stuff. Room 3 was a bit emotional with the story. It could have been nice to expand on that aspect. Like I'm not really for the dark tone of the Portal games, but this game sort of had the setup for something without really going into it. The audio reverser thing could have been nicer if there was a link or something though I did find my own. However, it was also lame that I could only know the number by looking up the song because the number seemed to be a lot bigger than it actually was. I also thought the passwords were all 5 numbers which was disproven in Room 3, but I had to try it to see. The ending was anticlimactic. Maybe that was the joke, but maybe if it had an actual ending instead of just looping back to the beginning maybe it could have been better. Also, there seems to be a lore contradiction. Like it was a game developer, but it was also a machine? Plus, it was inconsistent with there being audio and then not being. It might be better if it was more consistent. I prefer subtitles in this case anyway, so you could have gotten away with that. This game has a lot of potential, and the base work by itself is a good foundation and could even potentially stand alone, but it could be more as well.

Thank you for your thorough review!!  Trying to find a balance between spoon feeding the player and giving riddles that are so vague that they are not worth completing is tricky.  All of your feedback is helpful in finding that balance!

The game doesn't work with webGL, you should probably disable the compression format in the player settings. Please tell me if this gets fixed, this game sounds like a blast!

Developer

Thanks for your feedback.  I am playing it with WebGL on chrome.  Can you tell describe the issue so I can get a better idea of the problem?

Submitted

Well, it shows a red error box at the top of the window. I think you have to go into the player settings in unity and disable the compression format

Developer

Thats really interesting.  What browser are you using?  That happens to me if I use Brotli compression on itch.io, but it has never happened when I use Gzip.

I'm using the itch application on my computer, but I'll try googl

it works on google... sorry for the trouble I've caused you. I'll play and rate the game now

No trouble.  I'm glad it works for you!

Hi all!  We had a lot of fun making this game, and we hope you enjoy it.    This is meant to be a semi-challenging riddle that is going to require some creative thinking.  We tried to find a good balance where it felt rewarding, but not too frustrating.  If you need a hint, please feel free to email us at NorcatGames@gmail.com.  Cheers.
