I loved the visual style of this game, and some of the choices such as showing the "player" placing towers, which really helped sell the idea that we were not playing as the "player".

I definitely would love to play an expanded version with more levels, and more Minions!

Submitted

nice, we had the same idea but you executed it WAY better I realy think you deserve to win!

Super fun and great twist on role reversal. Loved the blueprint theming, and a couple of the levels had me stumped for a bit! Loved the evolution of mechanics too, with things like the bombs. Overall super cohesive and nice work!

It's my first time playing this kind of games (tower defense) and I have to say that it was amazing. I liked the design of the game. But what I liked the most is the music, Retrowave for the win.

Hey! I liked the stye and it was fun! Reminded me of one old WC3 map, where you had to send troops AND build tower defenses.

Wow, this is pretty great. I love the visual style, it fits the theme so well! The tutorial/intro is a nice gentle introduction. Nice!!

Great game, it messed up with my mind since I used to play with the towers :), a great idea, good game design and nice visuals.

The controls are sometimes challenging to fire the proper spawning sequence.

This is the best tower defense game i played in this jam so far. There were tooltips for the towers but not the units that you spawn, I missed that a bit to be able to plan directly. Unfortunately, it was trial and error until a strategy worked. Otherwise I thought the game was great. Awesome job!

[ + + + + + ] :: ENJOYMENT

What a game! I loved the multiple levels, the resource management, and the multiple types of obstacles! Level 9 felt completely impossible! I managed to get the fast bullet all the way through and it dropped the hearts from 2 to 0 and didn't transition me to the next screen.. Did I win? lol.

Couldn't justify withholding points for such an obscure issue. It was the last level, so it's excusable.

[ + + + + + ] :: CREATIVITY

Tower attack was one of the ideas we had during brainstorming as well. You implemented it far better than I think we ever could have! I give you full marks for creativity not because of the idea you had, but how you applied it! Outstanding work!

[ + + + + + ]  ::  PRESENTATION

I don't even have any words. Your music and sfx were on point, and the tutorials practically wrote themselves! You presented the game clearly and stylistically. Great work!

Wow, thanks!

thank you, mister reviewer, I am glad you enjoyed our project, it means a lot to us that the hard work  paid off
About Level 9, its the last level and It had a small bug on the Jam version, where it displays 0 Hp when there is 1 left, technically you didn't win :p but I give it to you, most people couldn't even reach it with one troop.
thank you again!

Ok now I need to see a solution XD

I'd love it if you could upload a video of beating all 9 levels.

Developer

here is a spoiler on lvl9 if you interested how to beat it

Submitted(+1)

Hahaha! I swear I thought I had tried that XD Guess I just needed to commit to brute-forcing it after breaking the laser.

I was able to line up my shot so that I took out the first 3 columns of turrets before sending in a speedy bullet (or something like that)

Dude these graphics are soo cool. The blueprint aesthetic goes crazy and this game pushes towards its aesthetic in a way that really shines. By that I mean the level of polish you put into this game is blinding! Level 5 was probably one of my favorites because of how I needed to time the 8-cost fast guy in a specific way. It was super tense, and I love how this game is able to tap into that feeling with simply sending troops!! Good stuff

I love this game ! We need more levels, 9 are just not enough

I like the blueprint design, it's not just aesthetic, but it also helped me to find the perfect timing to launch my pawns, the game really gets into you and gives you desperate and determined in the same time feeling especially at level 09.

 with only three enemy and three pawn types the game had so infinite possible levels and maybe multiple solutions for the levels, I can only imagine the possibilities with additional types

I don't know if the intro is integrated in the level design but I found it often useless and annoying, but I can undestand as it is a game that was made in a game jam, so not much time, and honestly it didn't feel like it, it was so well polished and I found no apparent bugs

GOOD JOB!

The blueprint background is so fresh and unique I can't say I didn't spend a lot of time playing through the levels and replaying them haha
Good job!

This game is immensely satisfying like there's nothing else to say it's perfect. I spent way too much time with it for a jam game. Props to you for making this

Good executoin of concept!  It's really well made game that I was enjoying.
Basicly I like everything: clever choose of visual style, nice audio and pretty good balance of difficulty.

But need of skipping intro scene  on every restart is very annoying. It be better if there was a toggle for it. Also it was great if there was a level selector. I stuck at level 9 and I'd like to continue later, but cant.

We also made an invert tower defense and would like to see an assessment from you :)

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! auto skiping the into was on the to do list but we didn't get enough time at the end, we hardly made half the planned levels
about skipping level, we always add sort of cheat code on our Jam games, with F1/F2 keys you can navigate between levels , you can read that on the game page -> instructions or even on the read me file inside the zip file
I will check your project asap(I have a huge queue of games haha) can't wait to play your game

I'm in love with the blueprint design! Everything looks cohesive, even menu buttons. Great attention to detail.

Really great take on the theme! We made a similar tower defense game, however we choose the entire wave beforehand, and enemies are spawned sequentially. Your game has the difference of requiring you to time clicking so it turns into a rhythm game almost which is cool. I literally busted out the metronome to help me beat the harder levels lol.

Developer

thank you! we were actually discussing the possibility of picking your team sequence with the delays between each troop but didn't up doing it, it makes the game more strategic actually and I am glad to see someone went with that approach, I will make sure to try you game asap, I actually have a long list I am going through haha

thank you again, can't wait to test your project
