How does your game fit the theme?
In this tactical RPG, you turn around halfway to escape with your treasures -- reversing your characters "roles" (aka classes). You must fight your way in, and fight your way out with characters changing movesets. How will you setup your line up?

Cute idea and there's so much content that you made in 48 i'm honestly shocked, the art is very nice and overall is a good tactical rpg with id say a very nice balance for the little time you all had. Good job!

Developer

Thank you! Haha we definitely stretched ourselves on content so happy to hear it appreciated!

Impressed by the amount of content you managed to create for the jam! Really nice idea and a literal take on the role reversal theme.

Developer

Thank you so much! It was definitely more ambitious than expected haha. Hope you enjoyed the game!

I like it! It felt a bit too random though. Doing 1 damage on a 1-6 damage attack just feels bad. I think it would be fine, but all of the abilities are like that. Having random elements is nice, but too much goes against the point of a strategy game.

Developer

Thank you so much! Yeah, some of the ranges should definitely be tweaked and not all attacks being random. Thank you for your feedback!

I love how each character has placement dependent moves and coming back up causes them to shift around. I feel like there's so much design space available with something like this where you could have shift mechanics for friendlies and enemies! The enemy sprites are fantastic too!

Developer

Yes, if we had more time I wanted to play more with shifting your party around and having enemies have something similar. Thank you!

Nice concept that might turn into a good game if given enough time.
Nice visual, interesting that abilities changed on the way back, because roles changed.

Enemies should disappear on death, support abilities should not miss, add music, sound, bosses, polish it a little, and it will be pretty good game to sell

I've reached lvl9, turned back and after beating back8 got stuck with no buttons to proceed.

Developer

We're hoping to spend some time after the jam to fix those issues and polish! Will definitely look into that bug. I'm really glad you appreciated the roles changing too

The presentation is top notch and the sprites look fantastic! A really great take on the turn based RPG crawler.

I like the premise, and the art is great. The enemies don't disappear once their health reaches 0 and I can't change targets, which undermines some of the strategy. I still enjoyed it tho!

Developer

Thank you so much for playing! Those comments make sense, definitely enemies should disappear once their health reaches 0.
