I enjoyed playing the game. The story was very clear, and great dialogue!

As a player I found that returning to the main path  kept me from getting too lost. The footsteps were helpful for this, however a UI sound or a prompt would make it more clear. One last thing, it would be nice to have a bigger sound radius for the honey cone sounds. Even hearing two at a time (ex. one close by and one at the distance) would be nice.

Awesome game though thank you for sharing it.

The music, sound and writing was absolutely adorable and I loved every second of it. However, I unfortunately struggled to make progress due to the confusing sound panning issues which Stratifarm mentioned, as well as the invisible walls which I wasn't aware of until someone pointed them out to me while I was streaming the game. If they hadn't I suspect I'd sadly find myself walking in place for longer.

I tried playing both with my monitor on and off, off was relatively difficult, I definitely relied mostly on Teddy to find the honey and struggled some times to hear what direction he was in. It was also unclear to me (until I played with the screen on) that pressing space while teddy would summon him back to me but not immediately send him away again, I had assumed that if I pressed space at any point he would go to where the next honey was. It would also be useful to have him say a special line after you've collected all the honey to tell you to move onto the next section of the level. I appreciated the audio descriptions of the cutscenes (and they looked great visually as well, I appreciate how you highlighted the characters so they stood out as well!).

The environmental audio and voice acting are positively charming. However, I found myself relying too much on Teddy to guide me toward the honeycombs. It would be nice if they were audible from farther away. It might also be helpful if the invisible walls before checkpoints had unique sounds or dialogue for both collisions and when they are lifted.

Great job! Two small points for feedback:

  • Add a new, separate audio cue when you hit the limit for the next area, since there's no indicator for those invisible walls
  • Move the audio listener onto the player position instead of the camera. It can be fixed and always point forward, but moving next to honeycomb will make directions more obvious (I had this same issue)

The game's truly cute! Sometimes I miss the dialogues because they sound a little low, but it has an overall nice polish

What I liked: Very cute and well done! The audio change for flooring, the voice was very cute and not annoying. Feels like it's the start of a cute little adventure game for children with a cute story and gets them used to using a computer. The art is also so adorable.

I didn't understand what space/my cane did. Seemed like nothing really happened.

To the right of the starting area I heard a bee around a specific tree, but there didn't seem to be one.

I wasn't able to get past the river. Something strange seemed to be blocking and I couldn't tell what.

Wonderful entry! Just so very cute.
