I enjoyed this game and the concept!  As other mentioned the controls felt a little off, but I was able to get used to the feel.  Overall nice entry and I enjoyed the dialogue

I quite enjoyed this game. The story was interesting, the main character was a pretty fungi, and the art + sound effects created nice atmosphere. Also it was cool that some enemies were not hostile, it felt like the virus/fungi was just wanting to exist at times and wasn't necessarily a threat. 

Unfortunately I didn't finish the game, I think it's mainly due to the lack of checkpoints, because the difficulty itself felt pretty much fair and adequate. But because there were so few checkpoints at some point when I died in some silly way, and had to run through quite a big portion of the level, it just became frustrating. Also the control scheme was quite weird, but I actually got used to it after a while. All in all, a solid entry, good job!

Hey, that's a nice ominous vibe you got going there, nice game! The controls were okay, I didn't have any issues with them except for bindings, but as soon as I stopped hovering over interact button I was okay. Hookshot was a bit tricky to land sometimes, but that's mostly on me. I avoided combat as much as I could, but I wonder why you made some enemies attack you on sight and some just passively being there, is that an oversight or just fungi people vibin', minding their own business? The boss at the end was also kinda a spam fest, land as many hits as quickly as possible, don't care about the damage taken aaaand it's over. All in all, very enjoyable, good work!

about the enemy the passive actually the idea was that he deceived the player, normally everyone thinks of attacking first, but if you just ignore him he won't do anything, and the boss really was an oversight on my part!

Não sei em que lingua comentar, vou só escrever em portugues mesmo x)
Tecnicamente o Primeiro jogo da jam que eu joguei então vai ser o primeiro que eu vou tacar um reviewzão.

Primeiro de tudo o jogo tá bem bonito, gostei bastante do estilo dele e as musicas são bem boas tbm. Os controles tambem são bem gostosinhos, principalmente depois de pegar todos os upgrades e poder sair speedrunnando igual doido, e eu gosto pra caramba desse tipo de gameplay mais rapidinha. E sinceramente, o gnomo aleatorio como save é genial kkk

Minhas unicas criticas mesmo são alguns nitpicks, tipo, quando vc leva knockback o personagem não só vai pra tras mas como ele tbm muda de direção, então eu acabei sendo combado muito de graça de alguns inimigos pq depois de levar dano o carinha decidiu olhar pra trás sem eu perceber. E tambem tem o fato de que os inimigos que atiram não dão indicação nenhuma de quando vão atirar, então o jogo parece meio injusto na hora de desviar dos tiros deles. Eu tbm não gostei das faquinhas fazerem vc parar no lugar pra poder atirar, eu acho que isso meio que quebra o meu "flow state" na hora, mas isso ai já é mais frescura minha mesmo.

Infelizmente eu não consegui terminar pq o Boss deu um softlock brabo em mim, e nem carregar meu save consertou ele, então eu teria que jogar tudo de novo. (eu gravei o bug, se quiserem ver eu mando no Discord depois).

muito obrigado pela analise!, isso do knockback é um bug que me esqueci de ajeitar ahsusauh, mas em versão futura (talvez update pós jam) essas coisinhas vão ser ajeitadas!, e se vc puder me manda o vídeo do soft lock do boss também seria muito bom (eu acabei não encontrando esse bug nos testes)

Love the visuals and the story telling at the beginning.  Full disclosure I didn't play it all the way through found the button layout a little unconventional. Keep up the great work!
