The idea was good but the execution was a bit rough for me. Sometimes I would literally be on top of the sheep, and they wouldn't move. Maybe you were being hyperrealistic with those stubborn animals  haha

Living in New Zealand, I can confirm this is just as frustrating as controlling real sheep!

Good game . hard to get the sheep moving  harder to scare off the bear

Glad I found this , I think the concept is really great! I know its a jam so you were really working within a pretty short time frame. The assets and whole atmosphere really had that ambient relaxing vibe that fits this game perfectly.

It was a fun game, but super hard because it's difficult to control where the sheep will go. Overall, I really had fun playing it.

Hahaha cool! Good luck!

I love the concept and presentation. There's definitely loads for you to develop here!

My main problem is the controls of the dog. If he were less slidy I would feel more in control!

How did you come up with the idea for this game? :)

Check out my entry for something less beautiful to look at :P

Thank for feedback and playing! The idea came out of nowhere a few days before the end of the jam, so I ended participating... btw: Your game is not bad... Played it for a quite long time...

Okay so the game seems simple, and the idea is great. But the instruction says to bark 3 times when close to a bear to scare them away. I replayed it around 7 times and still, I cannot scare the bear away.
I guess the reason might be not knowing what is considered "close". You can use events like the distance between two objects to display whether the player is effectively close enough or not on the screen. The game visually looks on point, but the sound design (Music) needs some attention.

Apart from that, I liked the game and the use of the theme.

Also, do check out our game Separated shadows as well.   Let me know your review. Thanks in advance.

Thank you for detailed feedback! You are right,  some game aspects are very unpolished and crude, scaring the bears away is one of them... In fact, it uses just simple collision event between the bear and "bark" sprite. So these two need to touch in order to work... In fact I waited for 5 days for inspiration to come, and started working on the game 6th day of the jam, so its really more like a concept... Regarding music - its just from my other project, but hey - its recorded by me, using live instruments (guitar, oracina)... It is meant to be more like ambient soundscape... I really like my games to have more relaxing, meditative feeling... I think it just doesn't suit your taste... But maybe some more upbeat music would be also good for this kind of game...

I like the concept, however the sheep are a little but unresponsive at times and unpredictable in where exactly they move to.
