Fun when it works, but buggy. Most of the time, the character immediately falls off the cliff the instant the game starts, before I have a chance to crank, but other times, he stops at the end of each platform until I start cranking. There’s also the crash after two respawns, as others have mentioned. Here’s the full crash log:

The game’s RAM usage doubles on every restart, so I think it’s just running out of memory.

Neat little game! Seems like it crashes trying to find bgm after you restart, but it's a creative and enjoyable game when it works!

While I really like the sound effects and premise, it keeps crashing my Playdate! Hard game, would like to see a 'life' system maybe, but again, I like the premise!

Unfortunately, I will have to wait till I find someone who can help me figure out why it's crashing (on the device) or until I get my hands on the console. And yeah, this is my first playdate game, and it is just a prototype, so I will be adding a bunch of new features after the new year.

Thanks for playing! Also, can you share when the game crashed? During restarts or at some other point?

It crashed when dying and trying to restart a new game, as another player commented. Best of luck as you go...you're way beyond what I am capable of! Much respect to you folks building games and putting them out there!!!

I liked this! It’s a bit too strict, but I might have been too fixated on hitting the end of the gap instead of hitting the middle of the next platform.

I like the feel, animations and cute presentation. It’s a nice flappy-bird-like but it could be a cool crank-based mechanic a in a less punishing game :)

Thank you for playing! This is still my first game for playdate. So I took it as an opportunity to learn stuff. I will make sure to include a bunch of new features soon and definitely think of a way to make it easier.
