Neat concept, I liked crafting new drinks! I found the UI a bit confusing, I had to read all the instructions from the description, would have liked it to be clearer what you do in the game. And from what I could tell, there was no indication what drink each customer would like without just trial and error. I also ran into a game breaking bug when breaking that just lost the menu and I couldn't do anything. I liked the customers, they each had their own distinct personality. If you made this into a full game, it would be a nice experience I think. Great work team!

Developer

Yeah, the bug's a thing many people have found. I even knew about it before we released, but I didn't have time to patch it unfortunately. The customers sorta hint at what drinks they enjoy, but some are more ambiguous than other. Thanks for playing :)

Very nice concept, liked it a lot. The game has a lot of personality too. I could see it expanded into a bigger game, with some adjustments. The artstyle is pretty cool! I encountered one fatal bug unfortunately, though that’s expected for a game jam xD

Developer

Oh, yeah. Is that when you go out of the crafting menu right as you make a drink? Or was that something else...

I love the art style and the game play is very cozy too (maximum cozy). Except for when certain characters talk, the talking sound was kinda hard on the ears.

Developer

Yeah. I suppose that was mainly Amaan, Karen and Chugg.

She didn't like the drinks we made :-).  Great game tho!

Developer

Yes, we didn't have time to add too many drinks, though there are over 46 of them. In the remake we'll have at least 200, though -- so it will be much easier to create drinks. Here's a tip: Use only one or two ingredients. If you use just one ingredient to make a drink you've got about a 50% chance of succeeding, and with two ingredients you've got about 2%. However, if you use combinations that could realistically exist (like coffee + sugar, not green tea + pineapple) then you get up to about 30-40% chance.

I really dig the artstyle. Though, the game kinda just feels like luck when trying to craft a good coffee combo given the lack of exposition. I couldnt get past the customer named "Lyla" who always complains about my combinations tasting weird. The idea has potential and I'd like you to expand on it, perhaps add some more in game exposition.

Neat but I kinda wish the game communicated that before
