Team members
I was alone (Nick064.itch.io)

Software used
Godot (Game Engine), LibreSprite(Pixel Art), GIMP and Affinity Photo(General-Purpose Image Editing)

Use of the limitation
To compensate for the fact that every enemy dies in one hit, I made the difficulty rest of the choice of who to kill. "Killing" the wrong target results in your death, so the whole point of the game is to identify them as quickly as possible

Cookies eaten
6, if Oreo-like biscuits filled with chocolate instead of cream count as cookies

How was your experience with Mini Jam?
I don't know if this is relevant, but i really liked participating in the Mini Jam ! I had never pushed myself to my limits like that in terms of game development, and im really happy to have worked so hard on a project like this.

Very interesting game idea. I got the hang of it in a few tries and it was pretty fun to play even with the HTML version. One thing that really struck me the most though is your art inconsistency. I feel like I would've enjoyed it more if the art you have for each one is similar, in terms of art style, to the background you have on your 'TITLE' screen. That background looks REALLY good! But the rest just kind of ruins it, like the UI, in my opinion. Overall, I think it was still a good game. Well done finishing it!

I really liked this one! I love the novel and fun mechanic of quickly uncovering and clicking on the real food, and it reminds me of how turtles actually do this in the wild with garbage (which is a real problem). Good submission!

The animations are perfect for this genre of the game. I like turtles too and that makes it even better for me. Loved it<3
Good luck with the jam I hope you like other games on the jam too<3

It's a fun little game, any variation on the "choice" mechanic could've helped!

But nice job and well done delivering!

Had a bit of trouble moving the .pck file for some reason, but eventually managed to get the download build working.  I enjoyed this, had a bit of humor but also conveyed an important message about wildlife.

Took a few tries to understand how to play it, but once I did I had good time. It reminded me of the type of microgames you would see in a WarioWare game. It could use some more variety if it were played in longer sessions, but as a bite-sized game jam game I think it fits well.

Thank you for your kind words ! A WarioWare-like minigame is definitely what i tried to go for, so i am glad that it feels that way !
