Gameplay 4/5 - Very fun game of balancing all of the stats and resources! Love these types of games a lot. Only thing holding it back is a pretty big glitch where if anything even grazes the outside of the box, you instantly game over. It killed my runs early and was pretty frustrating.

Visuals 4.5/5 - Love the simplistic style and how everything moves based on physics! Could maybe be improved but the simplicity really works in its favor!

Audio 3/5 - No audio in the game, nothing to judge.

Overall 5/5 - I really do enjoy the concept aside from the glitch. Without that, this is something I wouldn't mind doing a few runs of! Great work!

Theme 4/5 - Love how the boxes fit into the aesthetic but also a bit of the gameplay with sorting how the boxes are laid out.

You did really well to fit all this in! I would recommend using symbols instead of words, as it makes comprehension and readability easier. Well done!

Developer

Thank you! I definitely plan on implementing symbols in the next updat

This is just awesome, a bit hard to understand at first but I got the hang of it, I like how if you get too much stuff you have to manage your space and not only your stats

Talking about stats you could be more specific about which stat is which

Developer

Thank you, I'm glad I could achieve what I wanted. I can only say the same as to all the other people. I'm already done with a small quality update, so make sure to check back after the jam if you are interested.

I loved this game! I only went to 25 years, but I liked it, very creative and fun

Developer

Thank you and gg for 25. A friend of mine got to 56, but my record is only 21.

Game looks and controls very nicely. I feel like there is a fun game here but I don't understand how to play it.

One thing you could clarify (in the instructions here, maybe?) is what the colored bars mean. I see that combining boxes together makes the blue, green, and yellow bars fill up but I have no idea what they represent.

Also, maybe describe what makes us die of old age? It feels like I'm doing something wrong but I don't know what it is to try to avoid it. Maybe this ties in to the bars explanation?

Developer

Thank you too for the feedback! I've heard these complaints a lot so I've already made an update to it, but I can't  upload it until the jam is over. Be sure to check it out after the jam if you are interested.

I'll definitely check it out. I'll follow you.

Developer

Thank you! If you've got any more ideas, I'm open to suggestions!

Your take on the theme is original as hell, but honestly I'm having  bit of a hard time understand how the game works, and I've probably played 10~ rounds. That may be because I'm not super familiar with the genre. I love the originality though and the game is well-presented for the time-frame.

Developer

Thank you really much on the feedback, it means a lot! I've heard it a ton that it's hard to get used to, but I'm planning on reworking it after the jam to make it more user-friendly. I've already begun to rework the internals to make it more expandable and plan to publish it on mobile. This was my second game jam and I was so focused on the mechanism that I didn't have time for anything else.
