Cool idea to have you switch between moving and seeing the stage! I agree with the previous reviews in that I think it would have been nice to have a clearer sense of progression. And (aside from just having more levels in general), moving parts in the levels (and moving enemies?) could also make things more interesting, cause at least as far as I got it's a little bit too easy to just memorize the layout and play blindly the entire time. Otherwise, nice beginning of something interesting, and since you already posted some status updates in the comments, I'm curious to see what else you come up with!

This game is really hard to rate, because although it does work well with the jam's theme and the mechanic is pretty nice, the platforming doesn't mix well with an infinite game if you're not going to have randomized platforms. Change up the platforms every 30 seconds, add more SFXs and polish and you've got a decent little game in your hands.

Thanks for the feedback... I wanted to have more levels and a timer but no time for the jam... In the current version (will be released after the jam rating ends) you have to get 20 gems in 60 seconds... The blind mechanic will be used on certain levels only... Also there is an in-game level editor...

Sounds great! I'll be looking forward to it.

Solid game overall! The concept fits the jam's theme and the mechanics are good. The platforms themselves could have been more simple and easy to reach, in my opinion.

Thank you for the feedback... One of the few bad things about 48hr jams is that you dont have time to playtest... I am glad you liked it...

Nice concept there! sadly with just one single stage you can easily memorize the map but the turrets makes it harder tho so its still good.

If I keep working on it, there will be many levels... but as with any jam there is never enough time... I am glad you liked it and thank you for the comment...

neat. the same level layout kind of defeats the point, but I can understand that you were pushed for time

Developer

Thanks... It makes it easier to dodge the rockets in the second level if you are already familiar... But the time thing is true... I added the sounds and the music in the end and since it was 10 minutes before the deadline I didn't even test them... Thankfully only the jump sound effect didn't make it...

This is a pretty neat idea.  I think it would be helpful for the flow of the game and picking up the mechanics to start with some simpler levels (i.e. a level where you just have to walk to the crystals, then one where you have to jump up stairs, then one where you have to walljump, etc.). Also, it would be nice to have WASD bound for controls as well. I find that a lot more comfy than the arrow keys.

Thank you for the feedback and I am glad you liked it.... I didn't have enough time to make new levels but I have designed about 5 more on paper... I will probably add them and update the game after the jam ends... And add 'tutorial' levels...
