Blast from the past! It's been a long time since I thought about this game. Super well executed, I love those tense moments when you're trying to time things just right.

Looks simple but there's a lot here. I love the breaking animation and the respawning of the blocks. The character feels good and does what I want him to do. Overall I think its really cool, just needs some sounds to accompany it! Nice job.

Nicely made. I've never played the original, but it looks/sounds familiar.

The core concept here is solid, but I think the level design is a little too involved. The slow pacing of the game makes levels take a long time and most of that time is just moving without needing to worry about the enemies. I think shorter, more concise levels (and maybe a slightly faster game pace) could make this a lot more engaging. The need to completely retrace my steps for some of the coins felt taxing instead of engaging.

The rest of the game is great. The actually puzzley moments when you're being pursued by multiple enemies is a lot of fun. I'd just like to see more focus on that and less on large levels that require backtracking to find an exit on the opposite side.

Congrats on finishing this in a weekend! Plays and controls great!

the game is interesting and fun, it lacks music and sound, but is a good game

Keyboard didnt work but game ran fine in the link provided. Proper reminds of of old school NES Games as mentioned in your description :). I only have vague memories of Lode Runner but seems the same principal. Get past the bad guys to collect the items. Having to find the exit at the end is an interesting touch to. Also, quite a few mechanics in place here that got me thinking "Wish  knew how to do this" but rather than ask for detailed explanations I will just keep on learning and try to look it all up myself.

Had issues with it working in chrome, wouldn't register key presses but it worked in firefox. It was a fun. I did have an issue where I would stand too close to the hole I dug and the enemies would still get me as he was falling to his demise.

Neither Firefox, Chrome, or Edge worked for me 😟. I wish I knew the issue for this one. It reminds me of DigDug.

Edit: The link provided worked and I got to play it! Fun and challenging game. Just wish it had sounds or music.
