Nice, cozy game! The art and music are great! My only suggestions would be to add in the option to hide the UI so you can see the entire village, and also add in the option to click and drag the mouse to quickly place lots of objects.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Nice suggestion. It would indeed feel a lot better if the UI could be hidden or moved.

Thank you, Ben! Means a lot for me :)

This is awesome! Reminds me of some old game I used to play where you just placed random stuff all over the place and the actors moved around and interacted with each other in fun ways (a carnivorous plant would eat your humans if they were near, for example).

Developer

Haha, that would be indeed fun to implement actors' and props' interactions.

Thanks for playing, and you've built a great level over there! Glad you enjoyed it :)

Cool :) Enjoyed playing around in this sandbox. Few remarks:

- the music doesn't loop (or either way, it cut off)

- it would be nice to be able to hold the mouse button and to paint multiple tiles more quickly

- i don't seem to be able to delete the actors?

It seems I can't share my village here :( it reads it as >20480 characters.

Developer

Good notes, thanks for the suggestions. Thanks for playing, Phindie!

That is amazing! The art is just so lovely and it's definitely cozy watching all those elfs and santas stroll around lol.

Well done!

Developer

Thanks!

Nice graphics and animation.

Did I immediately create a hellscape of massive Santa's? Yes.  Did I love it? Also yes.

Developer

looks like Santa has called reinforcements :D

The genre was not something I was expecting it to be and it was a pleasant surprise! Although NPCs were a bit weird bc they can't be deleted.

Besides that I think you're missing the Mac export.

Developer

Thanks for these notes, I will keep them in mind! And I am glad you liked it :)
