Hi, I'm confused on the length of the jam. It mentions October 1-2, but then says there is a month long companion jam? Are these two separate ones with separate judging/scoring/prizes/etc? Can you participate in one but not the other or do you potentially miss out on something? Thanks!

It sounds like there's a 2 day gamejam that leads into a month long gamejam. Confirmation on this?

So the month-ish long contest starts on the 27th, The jam is one to two days depending if you are participating here or at a local jam. Those entries will be judged for what is accomplished during the jam period, where as the month long contest will be judged on the work submitted over the month long period. Local and this jam have on set of prizes where as the month long contest have separate ones.

I noticed on the main page one of the Jam locations is Perth - I live in Perth! So if the stars align I'd like to join that mini jam if possible.
