Having the same issue. I uploaded the game almost 18 hours ago but it doesn't show up anywhere on itch.io, even if I search the exact name, it doesn't show up. The link is live and the only way to access the game is directly through the link. My game's free and both check-boxes under public access settings are unchecked.

I've contacted itch.io support, they responded

" New uploads are not immediately indexed in our search as we require new games to go through a manual review queue by our staff. We put in this measure to minimize the amount of fraud and scam uploads that people occasionally attempt to abuse. "

And

" If there are any games that get marked for additional review in our system then it generally takes around a day for them to be reviewed, but sometimes there may be some additional delay depending on various factors. Just for some more clarification, this doesn’t happen to all projects, only a few."

I'm still waiting for my game to be visible on the site and its been almost 3 days.

Hey, your game has been indexed in our browse and search pages for days now from what I can tell. Where are you expecting to see it? If you're looking on the recently published page, keep in mind 100s of games show up there daily, so new things get pushed pages down very fast.  We recommend people publishing pages to post in Release Announcements

Did you upload your game using a proxy service? We detected your IP address being in the Digital Ocean network. Depending on the account, if something is uploaded via a proxy hosting service we may delay indexing your game on browse and search. (The game page is fully functional when accessed by URL though).

I know this thread is 285 days old but I have the same problem. So I have to wait like a few days for my game to be released? Also, I can't even find myself when I search up Circinus Games.

Your game doesn't have cover art or screenshots, and the description is barebones. As such, it doesn't meet the minimum quality guidelines to be included in search results. And you don't seem to have a creator profile. Have you ticked "Developing and uploading games" under Account Type in you settings?

I can see my profile now that I added a little bit of content. I added a thumbnail and a better description.

And now your game shows up in a search, too!

Thanks!
