Interesting concept, especially with the dodge.

The control scheme was very difficult to learn, it seemed somewhat unusual.

The concept is really cool, but the controls are kinda weird, couldn’t get used to the jumping button. Also, you don’t get any indication of damage, it would be cool to have a immunity frame or knockback.

cool design yup. would love to see a sequel or remake with more content and better controls (such as damage indicators for the enemies, the lack of health bars for them is fine imo)

Once you get down the movement system and learn how far the dash goes and the mechanics of it, the gameplay is honestly addicting. Despite the bosses not having any indicators showing how damaged they are, which does make it hard to tell how far you're progressing and can be a bit discouraging, I still found myself hooked solely because of the tight controls, since whenever I died it always did feel like I made a mistake rather than the game being unfair. The only exception to this is the final boss, which took me dozens upon dozens of tries to get right, but that's excusable given the rush of gameplay it provides once you realize how best to tackle the fight. I still found myself learning mechanics in the final boss room, which made me realize just how intricate the movement system is, especially due to its direct link with how you approach fights in this game. Overall, incredibly solid game that could be even better with a few minor tweaks.

It's hard to tell where hitboxes start and end, and it does lack some feedback when hitting things or getting hit. It's alright but nothing I haven't already seen somewhere else.

I like the concept and the levels but the game needs more explaining on how the attack system and combo works cause currently I don't really understand what it does.

have you tried getting good. You learn that stuff from playing the game and practice.

great game other than the small bugs and the missing boss meters.

other than that fun platforming and good combat and unique mechanics

KEY NOTE: ISNT A PUZZLE GAME

The music feels good to listen to and the game feels fast-paced, which definitely is a fresh breath of air compared to a lot of other slow puzzle-based games.

Although..

  • I struggled to find the controls lol (I thought the confirm key would be space)
  • The controls are a bit weird, the movement feels linear, and the screen feels a bit small.
  • I don't know if I'm dealing any damage to the bosses.

Nice game!

Developer

fun game

Fun game but the controls get confusing and the bosses don't give much feedback so it is difficult to tell if you are doing anything to them.
