In what way does your game fit the theme?
You (The Player) are sent on a mission to destroy Alien ships that are causing Chaos in Space.

Other than the "story", this game fits the theme of the jam as it is quite chaotic, and becomes more chaotic the longer you play.

Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I made this game myself.
Most Code was made by me with the exception of part of the wave spawner script which I obtained from Brackey's 2D asset pack.

All Art was made by me.
Music Was obtained from Jonas Tyroller's Wowie Asset Pack.
Sound Effects, I made using SFXR.

Neat graphics and gameplay! Overall, the gameplay was really well polished and well-rounded. Being a top-down shooter I would say it can be relatively boring once you've played for a bit since it doesn't deviate much from a standard top-down shooter and feels quite similar to other games.

A few nit-picky things I think would really make the game feel more exciting to play would be:

  • Screen Shake - always  good to have in any action game
  • Faster enemy spawning - helps keep the pace of the game up
  • BIGGER bullets (lol) - its weird but larger faster bullets usually work really well for arcade-style games
  • And of course some form of unique idea or mechanic that separates it from other games would be fantastic if you wanted to work on it anymore

Overall very polished, a neat cast of enemies, Great Job :D

Great grapghics, vfx and the particles were my favorite part and the music was really great, I would recommend adding a shop between every wave to get different weapons, hearts... or at least giving the player more hearts after each wave and working more on the ships.

Great graphics and vfx . Good Game

Really nice style, very geometry wars like! As others have said, moving diagonally would've been nice, and the scrolling seemed to jitter the ship which it sounds like someone had a solution for below too. Hope you keep going, I loved the gfx and music :)

Great game. Reminds me of asteroids and geometry wars. Love the graphics simple but really effective. Overall great work keep it up.

Cool Asteroid-like game.

Pretty cool game, the visuals are clean and well designed in its simplicity. It would be nice though if the player could go horizontally and vertically at the same time

Cool Asteroid-like game. Liked the vector-like graphics with the bloom glow, and also the retro sound effects. I think the camera could do with some more work. It feeled off.

Cool game, great look.

The camera controller seemed a little jittery though. If you're using Cinimachine and Rigidbodies, try setting the Interpolation of the Rigidbody to "Extrapolate", might solve the issue.

I didn't know that, Thanks!
