good game! looks really nice but i think the game needs more chaos, the only problem i see is that the missions are still going when the character talks to you.

Thats a lot of work for a week well done. Were the conveyors using physics forces?

I absolutely love management games like this! This was a really well made game for such a short period of time, it was loads of fun!

Storyline wise, I can see how it fits with chaos and it's a unique approach to have the chaos element appear in  story rather than gameplay, but I think it definitely needs a little more to really incorporate it in.

Either way, that's just a nitpick more than anything, had a ton of fun with this game and if you ever continue development on it into a full fledged game I'd love to play it through!

Just gave this a play. I love how much factory builder game you were able to implement in such a short time frame.

If I were you, I would avoid physics simulation for moving the parts around and would instead make a homebrewed system. The parts were doing some curious behaviors due to the physics combined with the conveyers.

Amazing work altogether. I was very impressed. Thanks for the game and the play!

Overall, the game is good and has potential to be interesting and challenging to play.

I will first a) state out what happen and what I am thinking during my gameplay from the beginning to the end, and then b) suggests my opinions. Although my words are not well organized and mixed up with core game system and accessibility things, I understand our time is limited and we can't finish all things, still I will say out something pop out from my little brain, hope it can help.

1a) At first, I struggle a few turns in order to transport the materials to the rocket, since I can't click on that area, when I maximize the screen, the left mission area just covered it. I need to use the normal size so I can finally enjoy the game. 1b) As I also face this weird UI position problem and many games also have this kind  of issue, I don't really know what can we do to this.

2a) Another thing I struggle to is the position of the building with fire burning icon. I assume the arrow icon means the entry of the raw materials -- the raw material goes from the arrow side to the fire burning side and then output to the goods. So I just place them in wrong direction at first. I also think that the fire icon side and arrow should form a straight line with the raw materials. (e.g. north in south out, east in, west out) After a few retries, I managed to understand the arrow means the exit of the goods, and as long as I place it  on the 4 sides of the raw materials, goods can come out in any direction, even going back to the raw material side is okay. 2b) I think it is better to change a little bit about the icon so it causes less confusion? or adding some restrictions about the entry and output direction so that there will be less confusion on the input output relationship.

3a) After knowing how to transport the goods to the rocket. I build the transport path straightly to the rocket at first. Later, when there is more tools, I need to make some rotation for the path to ensure new goods can arrive. 3b)  Also, the "burning factory" icon is a little bit confusing.

4a) At this point I can place different buildings on any tiles and connect the paths easily, so the challenge is low and I can gain a lot of money from the middle of the game. I kind of sense the potential of this game in this stage, adding different attribute on different tiles, some combination of different goods to create a new goods, different cost of buildings, maybe even cool down time, etc. those things can increase the difficulty when we are deciding to choose which buildings should be located in which tiles, hence we can get into the game and enjoy the accomplishment of building a perfect profitable factories ^^.

5a) As I am curious to leave the road being unfinished, I try to let the goods produced left on the ground, and later on I added back the transport path. seems that not all the goods have the kinetic energy to get back to the rocket, most of them just stuck in the middle path XD. 5b) maybe this could be one of the feature if your team is going to further develop it XD.

6a) finally I completed all mission, I feel confused to how to end the game. after one or two minutes, I find there is an extra text on the right bottom corner, which can let me click and get into the ending. 6b) I think the UI can make this ending signal stand out more.

Last minor thing to mention, although you say the storyline match the theme of chaos, I agree less as the story does not show chaos of the war is. Although war is a big chaos, the story needs to describe the situation of chaos more otherwise we can't feel the chaos in the game. On the other hand, I actually think the abundant of products like the above image match the theme more XD🐢.

Thank you for your in-depth reply. You brought up a lot of valid points, and I'll see what I can improve the next time round.

Thanks for spending the time playing, and replying, I really appreciate it! :)

Cool twist on factorio x order management, it's honestly impressive that you've coded all this in a span of one week! Maybe you can some random events to make the game more chaotic (machinery breaking, unusual orders, belts changing speed etc.).

It's a fun game, took a bit of time to understand but I got there in the end.
