hi, really appreciate it if you add setting for resolution, but still playable in ultrawide.
simple and nice horror game.
please check when the "Thing" want to enter the chamber, if you stand at the entrance, he will stuck there and take a few sec before player restart the check point. at 9:30
and confuse about the crawl meter, even though the meter become green (i assume for faster repeated crawl) it just dont work. so i dont see the point of green indicator there.
1 more, to increase the tension when crawling, if you force the camera to look back just like player take a peek behind, and the "Thing" right behind you, it will be more intense
The part with the crawling had my heart racing! The sound of it crawling (much) faster than me had the feeling it was right behind me the whole time. Really well done!
Absolutely loved the slow build of horror and the payoff was awesome. Really enjoyed this little game that plays into childhood horror and the obscure.
It's absolutely not scary. I don't understand what the developers were counting on. What is the target audience? How scary it can be? I just can't imagine. The game is not scary. If you want to make a horror game, then make it scary, then there will be respect and positive reviews. And by the way, don't buy reviews.
Yes, the concept of going through a slide with the expectation of something bad happening to the environment while you are in there was very scary to me. Once you entered the tunnels it was a bit less scary to me, but very well done nonetheless!

this was such an intense game, i was so nervous the whole time even tho there weren't any jumpscares which made it more spooky knowing there is something out there to get you, you don't know what it is or where it is but you know it's there, i enjoyed playing the game.

The game is very cool. It would be nice if there was a sensitivity setting because it is slow if you do not change the dpi on the mouse. I'm waiting for a new game)
During my playthrough commentary, I made a few comments like, "I hope the dev doesn't reveal the scare right away" and other little things I was hoping for and oh MAN did you hit on all the right points to make this a splendid and terrifying experience. I was truly panicking in the final portions and really hope to see more quality games like this out of you soon! Made a YouTube vid (second game) and also put quite a few clips on TikTok that nearly 1 million people have seen so far! Congrats on the wonderful game!
The game is very interesting and does a lot of things right. I love specifically:
The sound effect, undeniably one of the best aspects of your game
That N64, jaded graphical look, yet with excellent shaders and illumination of the scene
The textures
The atmosphere created
And the font used for text
The scene transitions, which are seamless
With that in mind, the game has a few elements that could be be better; specifically, the newspaper article had too many grammatical mistakes. Likewise, I did not like the crawl sections, which were too long, repetitive, and not particularly interesting. Likewise, holding the space button didnt work for me, and I had to keep pressing it.
I love the anxiety from not knowing what was going to happen after each slide down. Never going down a slide again! Great game and hope to see more games from you in the future!

Only bad thing about this game is the controls awful crawl button feature.
You come across a slide in the middle of the woods.....run. That is my advice to you.

I streamed the game with my friends and we had a really good time. Personally, i think the game was terrefying and i highly recommend it!

Lovely! I really enjoyed the atmosphere and I had a blast playing this while thinking of me as the kid I was 20 years ago.
