How does your game fit the theme?
From an ancient Japanese liquor that allows you to share dreams, to an everlasting magical glue that just wants to be addressed politely, HomeBrew lets you leaf through a wondrous recipe book full of potions and mixtures designed to bring people (and things!) closer together. Relax in your room while you listen to music, pet your cat and eat some chips! Although we didn't have time to implement the actual brewing mechanics, it is something we would love to be able to do in the future. In the meantime, we hope you enjoy this chill little experience.

Nice art and music!

It's a shame, this game was just a little too ambitious for the time frame. I think it will be lovely if expended upon outside of the jam, but as is it's more of a "Look at the assets we were able to finish" than it is a game. I'd love to try it again if it could be completed in the future.

Yes , you are right! When I realized I wouldn't be able to finish programming the brewing mechanic (which was pretty close to at least work, even if it wouldn't have been perfect) I decided to focus on getting the assets properly in the game instead. I'm tryin to find a bit of time every day to work on this game and we will update it when it's ready. Thank you for giving it a try and for leaving a comment :)

Ayo this is actually really sick. Like there is no actual gameplay but the atmosphere is really chill and you can already see how this could become a nice little game to relax with after work or something. For sure something that I wanna keep an eye on. Love the way you guys are thinking.

Thank you so much! It's great to hear that you get what we were going for!

Very cute. I only had a bit of a problem with reading the text because of the font. It's nice for headlines and such but maybe something more readable for the longer text would be better.

Developer

Yes, I have been thinking the same, to keep it for the headlines and find another one for the rest. Thank you for trying our game out and for the suggestion :)

I wish that was my room. Absolutely beautiful.

Even though this isn't a "game" as such yet, the atmosphere is so overwhelmingly charming that I just have to give this 5/5 for presentation. I hope this gets finished someday!

EDIT: My one suggestion is that the font you used isn't always the most legible on low resolutions.

Developer

Thanky you so much! The font issue is definitely a concern - we'll look into finding another one we like that is also easier to read. Thanks for the suggestion!
