Great world design and detail harking back to Parasite; I was sad I couldn't move the cabinet in the basement to explore the shelter below!

Beyond the slight lag, I had quite a lot of trouble making sense of what I was meant to interact with in the house. I could interact with some stuff, not others and nothing felt too guided which made me feel lost a real lot of the time. I also didn't have good references to all the character names, making those disorient me a little as I progressed through.

I also could never find the jewellery box mentioned in the hints, nor was I able to unlock the door on the first floor. Ultimately I think that challenge was good and kept me playing for quite a while, but as the whole experience felt quite unguided, and the clues quite unmarked/unclear I ended up having to stop before figuring it all out.

It did also feel a little strange having to click escape to put down the evidence or close text boxes--generally pressing the same button is the way to go, at least for me.

It's also worth noting that playing on a 4K monitor all of the text was sooooooooooo tiny that I could barely read it, so making sure things scale to screen size could be good.

Overall with a bunch more polish and a little more work on directing the player, this'd be a neat experience.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on my game: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-5/rate/928249 :)
