Are they in the desert or am I looking in the wrong place? Does the sniffer app help? I tried combing a ton of desert and found nothing. Is this puzzle incredibly tedious or is there something I'm missing?
So in V3 - there was a "floating box" - in V4 - I never got there due to this bug that I was never able to pass: https://itch.io/t/1073045/v4-ace-after-facebox-on-floor-rather-than-seat - so for V4 - I am not sure. But I believe they were around in the desert (maybe the mounds?) - and I think the sniffer helps. But it's been awhile since I read however it was to find it.

You need goggles in order to be able to walk the desert. They are near the broken hydrocollector. After that, you need to use the sniffer in order to find the rest.
