This is certainly the best looking game of those I played! As a platformer it's also very solid, the wall jumping feels and works great!
Though I think it could be improved with a number of changes. For example I think the fighting would feel better if your porjectiles would have a smaller hitbox (or one that is slightly placed above the sprite), so that it won't hit the floors edges as much.
Personally I also prefer if you can just hold a key that you often use, like holding mouse klick to shoot when possible or jumping as soon as possible when holding space. But that's just quality of life and maybe just me. :)

you can just run straight to the boss and the boss fight is pretty easy, you can just shoot and enemies wont even hit you.
Other than that great game, awesome graphics and music :)

Lovely VillageWoow really cool game.
The boss fight is a bit too easy... but unless that it is a really good game,
music is perfect, graphics are breath-taking, enemy AI is good and the story is well written.

Art: 10/10 - I love the artstyle!
Sound: 10/10 - The music is good!
Gameplay: 7.5/10 - Let's start this off easily, you can infinite jump if you are touching a block. The enemies are way too op (they indeed deal a lot, bats can deal like 25-30 dmg without any defense). Also add damage buffes so you can defeat easier the enemies. (200 hp with 50 defense, mostly def from mob kills). By the time I reached to boss, the boss didn't have any attack phases which is something very important if you want to make the player enjoy the game.
Note: I cheesed the boss on first try with no problems, only two enemies was harmed during the fight.
Like others say: "Test your game before you release it"
Overall rate: 9.5/10 - I like the game and the story, but you left us with some unfinished and unbalanced stuffs.
Definitely one of the better ones in the jam. The enemies are really hard though and the jump sound gets pretty annoying lol. Would also suggest making gameplay a little less slow, unless that's intentional and it's supposed to just be a slow moody journey. Music ambience really sets the mood too. And graphics are great. Can tell you worked hard on it.
That intro song is actually insanely cool too. With that cello drone. So ominous.

Broghman Beginsit is good, the characters look good, it is kind of difficult to get through some enemy's if they are together, but it is pretty good.
