Thanks for letting us know! Would you mind letting me know what device you were using and if it's a PC/mac, how much ram you have? A couple people have encountered this issue and it's usually been because of low memory, having a lot of browsers tabs open, etc.
I was on pc but I only had another google tab open and I have plenty of memory on my windows. also I don't know how much ram I have- Aka. Dont know how to check it.
Thanks for the info! If you use Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) then go to the Performance tab, you'll see "Memory" there, listing how much ram you have. But don't worry too much about it! It seems like a rare bug and we'll try to have a look at it, but it's a tricky one to pin down!

I'd say there's nothing in here that goes beyond what you might find in an episode of Spongebob or something like that. Kids of a certain age could probably enjoy it - my concern would be that the main interaction is reading text, and there are some big words here and there.

The only hint we've got is it might be memory related - if you have a lot of browser tabs and other apps open, stuff like that, try closing them and running the game again!

Almost every scene in the game is a 2 frame animation that loops over and over, including the loading screen. So basically I wrote/drew that text twice and the slight variation in its shape makes it looks like it's wiggling or bouncing a bit!
This game was so hecking adorable and fun, the style is to die for and I honestly would consider the "enjoyable for all ages" cartoon aesthetic completely utterly blessed.
I hope Posey and Cookleigh become the next internet sensation and I can't explain how much I adore the charm you put into this, my friend!
as orionboi mentioned, I believe you can get an offline version through the itch desktop app! this is what I found:

You can sync any browser based games right into the app, letting you play them offline whenever you want. Once you're back online you'll be able to grab any updates if necessary.
