Cool game! Well scoped. Progressive difficulty. Nice risk/reward leaving the merchant to collect coins... I presume that also connects to the theme? Good feedback when being hit/hitting enemies. Took me a few rounds to get into it. I was a little confused about how to build walls and didn't realize the gold circles on the level were coins. One that was out of the way it was smooth sailing though!
I like the idea of a merchant charging you to save his life. Gotta question his motives as all his wares revolve around his protection.

Nicely done! It's a satisfying little experience and polished for its scope. It felt nicely balanced and fairly challenging at times.
Sound design was well done, it made the whole experience feel great and energetic.
Keep it up!
Cool game.
I would suggest some sound effects. It will instantly transform this game to feel more fuller. Also add some death effects on the enemies. It will give a sense of accomplishment to the player. It would be better if the waves didn't appear over each other, maybe wait for the player to kill all the enemies before spawning the next wave. I could also walk from the path onto the wall tiles.
Another thing, the font is not really legible for long texts.
Overall, well done!
Great player feedback.
THE MUSIC WAS DOPE!
Small (well scoped) and well rounded :) great job
Interesting idea! Was a cool twist that your life is actually that of the merchants.
Nice graphics and sound fitting to the game look.
Some changes I'd add. Having the shoot on hold mouse down so I don't have to click repeatedly.
And maybe a bit of balancing. Would of been cool to play a bit longer. Maybe have the wall I put up broken down by the monsters. Bit of and endless game. :)
Feel like there's promise here! Could turn into something quite cool.
