Very interesting concept idea. This could very easily become one of those puzzle games with a simple mechanic, but surprisingly hard puzzles. Right now, it seems very slow and precise. Instead, I would recommend to try and focus on some fast game play and puzzles. Some tips on how to accomplish that would be to add some quick movements for the player like sliding and wall running and especially add an aim assist. A game that uses aim assist would be like the green shells in a mariokart game. I would recommend you look into that. Great starting game and concept for a week!

Those are some good ideas, thanks :)

It was pretty hard and I think I just got lucka at some parts xD Don't know how but it would be nice with a camera that showed the part that you aimed at :)

Developer

Thanks for testing, i'm not sure i understand the camera but one possibility could be to display the trajectory of the path when aiming. :)

Yeah I realize it's a weird suggestion. What I meant was a screen in the right corner(or something) that showed where it went but a trajectory is probably a better choice ^^

Nice puzzle game ! The concept is really cool and each level is well designed, the atmosphere is good and I love particle effects. I just have gripes on the game feel, I think controls are heavy. I give you my advices if you would like make a full game :

_ Indicate with wires what buttons do (like portal).
_ increase movement speed and increase a little bit the FOV.
_ Give a bigger hitbox to get back easier the shard and give a more powerful shot.
_ Add more sound effects !

I hope it will help you. I really enjoyed your game, Nice job !

Nice concept, was fun to play around the throwing dart style mechanic :) Some guidelines would make it more interesting, and allow more complex levels in my opinion.

The aiming movement & UI felt quite nice :)

I've noticed some camera bug when moving a bit too fast, and the character getting stuck midair when touching a wall was a bit irritating.

Other than that,  really enjoyed experiencing the game mechanic.

Would appreciate if you check out & rate our game as well: https://hadilepanda.itch.io/corewind

Thanks for the feedback :D I will try to replicate the camera bug and see if I can get it fixed :)
