Thanks for checking out the game and providing your feedback. Really appreciate you taking the time to comment on your experience. I'll look into these issues and work them out. Can you provide more details about the "insane root motion"? The movement isn't actually tied to the animations, so this can be adjusted. Just need clarification on if the movement is too much or not enough. If you can also let me know if this is for all forms or a specific one, that would also help me a ton.

The movement is way too much and takes way too long. Like, a simple punch shouldn't move my character 5 meters forward over a span of 1 second. This is a common problem for all attacks in all forms, including the base one. Also, many of the attack animations are way too slow.

I don't want to tell you how to make your games, but if you have no idea what I'm talking about, try playing Sifu. The player character in that game has a lot of snappy moves too, but the speed and distance are reasonable there.

Also, it's easy to fall out of the arena right now.

Also... Please check if some of your logic depends on frame rate. I have tried disabling the V-Sync (that increased my FPS from 240 to 370) and that increased the distance traveled by the punching character (it now takes 5.5 punches instead of 8 to move across the room). Maybe your distance is actually sane but it only works on your PC

Unfortunately, you're on point. I didn't take the time to research ways of mitigating the frame rate / physics troubles when I was developing the game. I'll give that system another look over while working on the update. There's plenty of documentation about mobile combat systems online to comb through, so I'll find what works best for the game. Just gotta study, test, and implement them.
